CH 02 - An Awakening

Izuku Narration

Its been hours after i awakened this strange quirk, and minutes after my body almost mentally broke me from the painful experience it made me go through. I thought that was my end due to how unbearable it is but i somehow survived, barely alive but still living nonetheless.

I look over my hands seeing what that pain achieved in the end, my body changed after that experience as if my body had gone to reconstruction making it stronger than before, im 90% sure thats the case since there was no logical explanation to how my body was strengthed and refined just by that situational pain i received.

I have taken the liberty to breath deeper, feeling my lung capacity had gotten more than what i could hours again, even with just this i could feel the effect it goes with, relaxation was fortunately one of those perks by having this lung capacity.

"This is amazing, I could feel like i can breath underwater for hours if i wanted to." By taking a good deep breath, as i let it out but something more amazing surprised due to how unexpected it was, a glorious outburst of flames explodes out of my mouth when i let out that breath.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" I let out a shout exclaimed even... as i fall on the floor with my ass hitting the hard floor,
i was so surprised that i could breath out flames, unaccustomed by that i covered my mouth and prepared for if i breath once more maybe flames would come out again.

"Oh?" I questioned, a bit disappointed that nothing came out. No flames, just some little streak of died out smokes, after sighing deeply my disappointment was through the roof as i couldn't do it again. I gave up shaken of the dust from my clothes regained myself and stood up with my shoulder rested on the wall, although feeling a little well than i was hours ago to be honest i'm still far from peak condition, weakened to the point that i couldn't even stand up straight, maybe the adrenaline i had was exhausted. I need a few hours of rest after that exploring the limits of my newly found abilities should be in order, i need to go out there and test them out first hand.

"I'll take.... a.... nap..." My body gave out, i lost consciousness right then and there at the comfort of my home, sleep and exhaustion embraced me by its soothing comfort.

Light shines on me, as i groggily opened my eyes seeing the plain colored ceiling in front of me. Looking at the clock near the fridge its stated 9PM exactly 3 hours after i lost consciousness.

"I need to go for a little walk..."

Clenching my hand into a fist, i smiled and look at the nightsky reflecting outside of my home.

"A very enthusiastic walk..." My lips curled up, excitement bottled up within me. I didn't hesitated and took a leap of fate out of the window 3 floors descent to ground floor, not even a tickle on my feet while the ground was broken upon impact.

"Awesome! durability check!" I got excited, not even a powerful adult would be able to survive that great of a fall without heavy damages but i got out of that unscathed

"Not even a scratch." I inspected my body and saw nothing, perfectly normal, if ignoring the fact that my shoes were nonexistent and left me barefooted god i feel so nude without my shoes. A suddenly pain struck my mind and made me say a word.

"Equip!"

energy began to form and covering the figure of my foot, forming around it little by little spikes and edges started to come together until it finally forms something, seeing it made me questioned what was it but to me it was something familiar.
