"Sayo-senpai!" A voice called out to me. "Ah, Toyama-san, what happened?" I asked. "Have you heard? Roselia is going to the finals!" She said. "Yes, i heard it. Roselia is preparing ever since we got the news so I hope our efforts pays off" I said. "Ah, about that, Hina-senpai asked me to pass you this!' she said while handing me a bento set. "She said you left home in a hurry and forgotten to take your lunch with you so while I was walking to school, I met her on the way and asked me to pass you your Bento set" "Thanks. Sorry for the inconvenience she caused" I said.
"Onee-chan!" a familiar voice called out to me. "Hina?Why are you here in my school?" I asked. "Well of course to walk home together" she said. "Well, I have some committee work that I need to do so you can go home first if you want" I said . "Fine, I'll go first , see you later at home!" She said. I could feel my anger rising up as she talked to me but luckily I didn't burst out. "Maybe I shouldn't" I thought.
After doing my committee work, I walked home by the usual street and saw Hina. "Please do not notice me, please do not notice me....." I thought to myself. While deep in thought, i suddenly heard a voice calling out. "Watch out!". Not giving any thought of it, I felt a sudden push and I fell to the ground. A sudden shock wave went down my body after what I've had witnessed. Then it hit me. I had an accident but it was not me who got hurt. I turned my back and could not believe my eyes. "Someone call 911!" A voice called while a bunch of bypassers crowded among the scene. I tried to squeeze my way into the crowd and to my sudden horror, I could not believe who I saw on my ground. "Hina!Hina! Can you hear me?! Hina?!" I shouted. I tried to stay as calm as possible in order to properly assist her. She was on the ground, with her head bleeding profusely, she was not responding and had no sign of life. Bystanders started CPR on her and tried to stop the bleeding as much as they can. "This can't be happening..... This is can't be happening" I thought to myself while pacing myself out. "Excuse me, paramedic on your way" I heard. I stepped aside while seeing the paramedic race against time to save my sister from the brisk of death.
"This can't be happening" I thought to myself. Seeing my sister right in front of me, on the brisk of death. At this point of time, It has been fifteen minutes since the paramedics arrived and they are constantly trying to save her. "Anyone a family member?" a voice called out. "Y.Yes!" I shouted. One paramedic escorted me to the side of the road to tell me about her condition and my heart dropped. "I'm sorry to say this but unfortunately, we could not save her. She lost a lot of blood and we could not stop the bleeding". At this point of time, I could not react but to stand there and see my dead sister in front me. "Time of Death, 5.30pm" I heard, I could not bring myself to really think it through but tears began to fall down from my cheeks. Some bystanders cried while some left. "Why?Why?Why?Why must she die?" I thought to myself. Feeling really angry and sad, I marched towards the ambulance and tried to call out to her. "Hina!Hina!Can you hear me! Hina?! Listen to me! Hina?!" I exclaimed while desperately trying to bring her back into life. "It's no use, I'm dead" I heard a voice calling me out. "Hina?" I asked. "One-chan" "Why must you go? I don't want to be alone. I am sorry for being such a bad sister" I said while mumbling on my words. "You are not a bad sister, I loved you all my life and I will always will. Well, see you later" She said.
The next day, Hina's death was all over the news and my bandmates was by my side with me. Some even decided to comfort me throughout my healing process. I tried to keep my cool but no matter what, tears kept falling. "Hikawa-san, do you need some water?" Shirokane-san asked. "Sayo-senpai, here is some food for you''. ''I cannot bring this matter to words, I didn't know what to expect. I do not know what to do...." "Sayo-senpai, I know what it feels like losing someone you love".
On her day of her funeral, I went towards her coffin and could not really say anything. "Hina.I hope you are feeling okay now. This day has been rough without you. I am sorry I couldn't save you. I am sorry for all the hate that I give you and I am sorry for not being there for you" I said. All of my bandmates and other band members decided to come visit her. They came directly towards me and one talked to me. They tried to comfort me and some even came to hug me. "Hina-san......." I heard a voice calling out her name. Pastel*Palettes band members came to her wake. "Sayo-san, thank you for taking care of Hina" I heard. i looked up ad saw Maya-chan looking directly at me.
