Cal's learning more about his new life at the Yersinia Medical Academy, but he still hasn't figured out what the deal is with his roommate, DJ.
The questions keep piling up, and they're starting to get to Cal. Can he keep things together long enough...

Panel One: Cal is laying in bed, blinking in the morning light. "Whuh?" he says, "S'morning?" SFX: -blink- -blink-
Panel Two: Narration: "Last Night" Cal (in chibi form) is slouched in his bed in the dark, his eyes half-open. An analog cartoon clock reads roughly 11 PM.
Panel Three: Chibi Cal is drooping forward, his eyes closed. The clock now reads about 12:40 AM.
PAnel Four: Chibi Cal is laying down, under the covers. The clock says 1:20 AM.
Panel Five: Back to now. Cal's hands are covering his face as he groans. He thinks to himself. "I couldn't stay up to ask him where he was all..." SFX: ~groan~
Panel Six: Cal's hands are on either side of his face as he looks upwards in shock and concern. He thinks, "What is on my legs?"
Panel Seven: Cal lifts his head off his pillow slightly and looks down in horror. "...Oh, no..." he says.

Panel One: Cal is sitting up in bed, staring in surprise at a striped cat, loafed happily on his lap. In the background, DJ is at his desk. He's turned to look at cal and he says, "Hey, you're up! Sorry about her; I must not have closed the door all the way last night." SFX: ~purr~
Panel Two: DJ is by Cal's bed, bending over to give the cat a scritch on the head. He's smiling as he says, "The school has lots of cats wandering around."
Panel Three: A close-up shot of the kitty, purring happily with her eyes closed. DJ's hand is in the frame, and scratching her ear. From off-panel, DJ says, "This is Mar~a! You love laps, don't you? You're so cute!" There are hearts and music notes indicating a sing-song tone (you know, the voice you use when you talk to animals). SFX: ~purr~ ~purr~ ~purr~ ~purr~
Panel Four: Cal's POV. DJ is now crouched beside the bed and still petting the cat. He says, "She's a sweetheart. She loves it when -"
Panel Five: Same view as before, except now DJ looks concerned. "Are you okay?" he asks.
