Endless Love

When you have a nightmare

The place was unkown you looked at your watch and you realized that midnight hour is close at hand, and soon enough, darkness will fall. The dim lights in the empty street made it worse, for you felt even more horrified. Your heartbeat raced like a ferrari while the wind blew and rambled. And then you heard footsteps, you turned around in a hasty way laying your eyes on the silhouette behind you.
"Who are you!?" You growled
"Relax!" Andrew chuckled "it's just me. I love you (Y/N)"
Despite the fact that it was dark you could sense your lover's aura. His silhouette with those broad shoulders, the elongated handsome face and the wavy hair. It made you feel relaxed, or even relieved.
"I love you too" you turned around "how about we check out where those stairs would lead to?" You pointed somewhere
"..."
"Andrew?"
"..."
You turned around. But you didn't find your beloved Andrew. Tears formed in your eyes, while your legs turned into jello. And then your heart pounded really fast and hard when you spotted a black silhouette staring at you mischievously. Slowly, teleporting towards you before jumping right at you, making you let out a scream that expresses terror and fear. Your scream was followed by lots of sobs.
"Who are you!?"
"Relax" the silhouette said mockingly "It's just me, Andrew. And i love you"
"What did you do to my lover?" You cried in agony
"Nothing. Nothing at all. Though, he's just facing the hounds of hell, if you don't mind" the silhouette laughed
Creepy cold hands went straight to your neck, gripping it in an agressive rough way. The silhouette was choking you, while your voice cracks every time you callout your lover's name wondering where he is.
"Andrew! Please don't leave me! Don't kill him please!" You yelled, tears rolling down your cheek.
And all of the sudden-

"(Y/N)!"
You jumped at the sound of your beloved's voice, opening your eyes wide open before pushing him away in fear.
"Hey! It's just me, it's me (Y/N)" he said, as he quickly turned on the lamp beside him, to light up the room a bit and confirm that it's just your lover.
"It's Andrew" he wiped your tears away, while the sweat dripped down your face and your whole body shivered. Then he held your chin making you look at him "breathe in" he said, as you obeyed him "breathe out" he added, as you listened to him.
"You were having a nightmare weren't you? I heard you screaming my name" He muttered, gently caressing your skin
"It was horrible Andrew" you bit your lip to prevent your sobs from escaping. You didn't want to act like a child in front of him, however, you were unable to hold your tears back.
The rain got heavier and thunderstorm roared outside, making you jump into Andrew's arms.
"Hold me!" You cried
Your lover welcomed you in his arms, wrapping them around you to obey your command. Then he kissed your lips tenderly.
"It's okay, i'm right here"
He stared at you with concern, then he asked "do you want to talk about it?"
You went on and on about the nightmare, every each word followed by a few sobs from you, and multiple kisses from Andrew.
"I was terrified, i felt like i was being choked for real, and at the same time i was worried about you" you cried "i thought you were dead"
The look on Andrew's face softened even more.
"Were you worried about me?"
"Yes" you said in a shaky tone
"It's alright, you're safe and sound. And i'm beside you here, i'm not leaving you"
You whimpered in fear, before you cried again.
"No..Don't cry" he whispered, then he wiped your tears again, while you cling onto his clothes for dear life.
"I just...i Don't want you to see me like this" you looked away
"There's nothing to be ashamed of" he kissed your head. "It's okay to be scared at times"
At this moment, you put your hand on Andrew's chest wanting to feel his heartbeat. He grabbed your hand, then he kissed it with a soft smile on his face.
"Hmm? (Y/N) are you trying to feel my heartbeat?" He let out a faint chuckle
You nodded at his words.
"Well then. Instead of feeling it that way, how about you sleep to the sound of it?"
You smiled at this suggestion.
"I'll take that beautiful smile as a yes" he said. Then he added "come here" he gently tilted your head against his chest, while you closed your eyes listening to his heartbeat that sounded like a melody, combined with the heavy rain outside.
"Hm, that's it. Relax, let loose" he smiled
