Feelings . [ Chapter 1 ]

It started off as a normal day . Jake walking out of his house with his little brother , Milo to bring him to school .

But , today was different . Instead of them walking alone , Drew was outside waiting for them . This was weird for two reasons . First , Drew always walks with his girlfriend , and second , he never walks with Jake .

" Are you just gonna stare at me all day , or are we gonna go ? " Drew asked . " Oh ! Yea sorry , just didn't expect you to be here . " Drew seemed to fall silent after Jake ' s words .

" Yea , well , I ' m here today , so , are we going or not ! ? " " Ok , ok ! We ' re going . " Jake knew that there was something off with him . So he planed on asking him after they dropped off Milo to school .

After dropping off Milo , he asked Drew what was wrong . " Alright . You seem off the edge . What ' s the matter ? " " Ugh . I broke up with Zoey . "

Drew doesn't know why , but he feels more comfortable talking to Jake about it then anyone else . " WHAT ? ? WHY ? ? " " Well , believe it or not , she was using me . " Drew admitted . " Oh . . . "

Jake would hate to say it but , some part of him was happy that they broke up . But , they soon arrived to their school , Rosemeddow high .

Upon arrival , Drew asked Jake if he wanted to come over to his house . " Yo , Jake you wanna come over to my house after school today to hang out with me and the rest . " Now , Drew wasn ' t expecting a yes from the shorter boy because he always said that he couldn ' t .

That music freak club was too damn controlling , whether you want to admit or not . So , when Jakes words came out , you can say he was surprised . " Sure , I ' ve needed a break from practicing anyway ! " He said with a smile .

Why was Drew so happy to hear that ? Why was he blushing uncontrollably ? What was this feeling he was experiencing ? So many questions , and not enough answers .

But , there was one thing to came out of Drew ' s mouth , that no one was expecting to hear .

" Your so beautiful , you know that right ? "

Now it was Jake feeling those things , only he could identify them a little better than the taller one . The only word that came to his brain was ' love ' . Wait . . what ?

" Oh , uh . . . thank you ! You don ' t look so bad yourself . " Ok . What was that ! ? " Uh . . . Sorry , but I better get to class ! Don ' t want to be late again ! " He said as he ran into the school leaving Drew there . Just there .

As Jake was walking to his class , he noticed that he missed morning rehearsal . He knew that during lunch rehearsal , he would be yelled at for missing it .

This saddened his mood for the morning , but then he recalled the past events that occurred with Drew this morning . His mood , for some odd reason , boosted .

He had an half idea on what he was feeling , but didn ' t fully know . His first period was science and for which , he had to sit next to Milly .

She wasn ' t mean like the rest of the club , but she never stood up for him when they would yell at him for little mistakes that he made , whether it was singing the wrong note or the wrong word ( s ) .

He walked into class and to his seat , only to be greeted with 2 empty seats . It seems like Milly and the others weren ' t here yet . Welp , gives Jake more time . He sits down in his seat , waiting for the teacher to start .

Now back to Drew , he was still standing there , with so many thoughts going around his mind . That was until someone tapped his shoulder .

It was Zoey .

" Drewy bear , look at me . " Zoey said , as if they didn ' t end it off . " Don ' t ever call me that again . " Drew replied . " Why ? " " Did you forget yesterday afternoon ? " Zoey fell silent .

" Yea , what I thought . " Drew pushed her hand off of him and started to walk away . " Wait ! " He turned around to look at Zoey . " What do you want now ? ! More money ? "

" No ! I - I ' ve been thinking and . . . I want to start over , and I swear I won ' t use you ! It was a stupid mistake ! " Drew seemed not surprised at all .

" You wanna know what was a mistake ? " He asked . " Hm ? "

" Us . "

And with that Drew walked to his first class , leaving Zoey there to cry .
