new beginnings

Winter Break went by hella fast. So did Spring Break. It's already April. Katie and I are back to being best friends again. I can't believe I doubted her over Dave.

Speaking of Dave, after the last day of first semester, we haven't spoken a word to each other. I even asked to switch seats in Math and Science to avoid Dave. I blamed the move on vision problems though. And Katie and me vowed to never go into Comics Cafe, to avoid seeing him as-well. I had moved on from him anyways. Chris asked me out on a date last month and I said yes. Ever since then, we've gotten along pretty well. Although my feeling/ for him weren't as strong as my past feelings for Dave, he's a good distraction.

Chris and me have kept it private just to avoid any sort of drama whatever I don't know.

Chris' and I had sex twice last week and let me tell you, it sure as hell makes me miss Dave. It was fine I guess, it wasn't a bad experience but it couldn't out match Kickass. Because let me just tell you, Dave can kick ass in bed.
Katie and Chris have become good friends too. We're sort of like a trio.

Me and Chris decided to do the deed today. But today it was different. He was very aggressive and played a very dominant role. He made he scream his name and tell me to say things like "I'm yours Chris." or "Your way better than anyone else" and some other cocky sounding shit. I didn't question him but let's just say it was by far the weirdest sex I've had with him.

When we finished he didn't even stay in my room. He left right after. Damn.

The next day Katie acted a bit weird when she saw me.
"How was your day last night?" As if she knew about what me and Chris did.

"Uhm. It was fine I just caught up on homework.." I looked at her oddly.

"Huh." She smirked.
Was she spying on me or something? How is she reading my lie? Unless she already knew it was a lie.
I'm probably reading into things too much. She asked a normal question. And then gave a normal response.

The next week the whole school was getting bedazzled for the Prom on Friday. Obviously I was going with Chris. I couldn't help but think, who is Dave going with? Ugh, oddly the thought made me sick. I didn't want Dave to go with anyone other than me. That was a selfish request considering I'm already going with Chris. But I guess I didn't want the boy I was so fond of to be with somebody else. I'm quite the hypocrite aren't I?

So, since me and Dave's lockers were close to each other, I decided to find out who the lucky girl was. I swallowed my pride and walked over to him.

Dave's POV ^^
Out of the corner of my eye I see Y/N walking towards me. My heart began to race. That's right, Y/N still makes me crazy. Obviously she's moved on, but I'm curious as to what she wants from me.

"Hey Dave?" I heard her soft voice.
"Hm?" My eye remained on my locker rather than her.
"Just wondering if you're going with anyone to prom?" I was in disbelief. Y/N L/N wants to know who I'm going with. I'm sure she already has someone of her own so I don't know why she would be asking me.

"Nobody. Why?" I had to know.

"Nothing. Just wondering. How have you been.?." The small talk felt like it was leading to something.

"Well, to be honest. Ever since the girl I loved practically dumped my ass, not so great." I laughed, but she didn't.

"Loved? Wait what- You do realize that the reason I 'dumped' you was because you took advantage of my best friend, lied to me about it, and preceded to sleep with me to get me to forget about the previous events." She would be right to dump me, if any of that were true.

"Look Y/N I already told you that didn't happen. In my mind I see you as the girl who couldn't accept the fact we had something. So then you decided to shut me out and believe that bitch over me."

"Don't call her a bitch. You know what- this was a mistake. Thanks a lot dickhead."

Welp, I think that was the record for the quickest time a guy has ever gotten there hope up and then immediately crushed.
I can't blame her. In her mind she thinks I did something with Katie. I guess if the situation was in reverse, I would be acting just like Y/N.
