There was a spirit named Kai, whose job was to bring joy to people's lives. He traveled far and wide, spreading happiness wherever he went. He was known for his infectious smile and his ability to make even the saddest of people laugh.

One day, while on his travels, Kai came across a young maiden named Aria. She was sitting alone under a tree, her head bowed in sadness. Kai approached her and asked her what was wrong. Aria told him that she had lost all hope and had given up on finding joy in her life.

Kai felt a pang of sadness in his heart and decided to make it his mission to make Aria happy. He spent countless hours with her, talking and laughing, and showing her the beauty of the world. As they spent time together, Kai found himself falling deeply in love with her.

But there was a problem. It was forbidden for a spirit and mortal to love each other. Despite this, Kai could not help his feelings for Aria. He knew that he could never leave her side, and so he made the difficult decision to become mortal, just to be with her.

With the help of a powerful sorcerer, Kai became human and started a new life with Aria. They lived together in a small cottage in the countryside, spending their days tending to the garden and exploring the world around them.

Their love grew stronger with each passing day, and they were happy together. But as time went on, Kai began to feel the weight of his mortality. He knew that he would eventually grow old and die, while Aria would remain young forever.

Despite this, Kai was content. He knew that he had found true love, and that was all that mattered. He spent the rest of his life with Aria, cherishing every moment they had together.

When Kai eventually passed away, Aria was heartbroken. But she knew that they had shared a love that was eternal, and that Kai had fulfilled his destiny of bringing happiness to someone who needed it most.

And so, she continued to live her life, always remembering the spirit who had become human, just to be with her.
