The world loved you
Your petals never failed to shine
I should've noticed sooner
The crippling stem
Starting to dieThe garden loved you
Bright and colorful
Born to achieve
I should've noticed sooner
The wilting leavesThe grass loved you
You rooted yourself in it's life
Your gentle self making room
For all lies
I should've noticed sooner
Were your petals fell
I'm sorry that I didn't
I knew you wouldn't tellI loved you
Your stem, your leaves, yourself
You wonderful beauty
You amazing thing
I'm sorry I let you
Wilt awayIn front of my face
Forever your dead body will stay
Between the pages
Of my ever cherished book
Free from the cages
Of a forever present stare
Rest now
Replant your seeds
Grow back anew
And show them all
The new flower
The new youAnd you may have died
Planted then plucked
That doesn't mean you didn't try
It means you ran out of luck
And in this field
We'll await your return
You wouldn't stay dead
Your petals meant to burn.
