Kiana found herself staring at the mirror in her dorm bathroom.Her pale white hair was greasy,and she had purple eye bags from her lack of sleep.She sighed.Not because this was what she saw everyday,but because she was expecting something different every time.

She went to bed,but she couldn't sleep. tossing and turning,all she could think about was the moon and the comfort it gave her.Some fresh air would be nice.

Kiana put her hair in a high ponytail and took her signature jacket before going outside.

But, before she left, she told Theresa she would go on a walk.

"Just be back quickly, okay?"Theresa said.

"Okay!"Kiana said,forcing a smile.

She didn't want anyone worry about her.everyone had a lot of problems, and she didn't need to be one.

Kiana headed to the nearby woods.It was quiet...peaceful.she looked up a the night sky.the moon was like gold and the stars like iridescent crystals. the ground was soft yet firm against her boots,leaving traces of mud,but she didn't mind.the wilderness always seemed to comfort her at times like this, when she felt alone.

She was about to head back when she heard faint,soft cries near the forest.she walked towards the sound when she found a girl about her age.

The girl had long purple hair and her skin looked like silk bathed in the soft moonlight.The girl must have heard Kiana because she looked up at her and stopped crying.

"Are you okay? What happened?"Kiana crouched down to the girls level.

Softly,The girl said,"m-my father,he...He wont let me go home.I-i don't know where to go."

Kiana felt the girls pain.Like a million poles stabbing you in every direction.Like your brains been poisoned by the rest of the world.Like a burning sensation underneath your skin.

"What's your name ?"Kiana asked,softly.

"Mei."The girl muttered.

"Well Mei,"Kiana replied,"Do you have anyone to contact?"

Mei shook her head.

"You can come with me then,If you don't mind."

"Really?"

"Of course"

With that,Kiana pulled both her and Mei up on their feet. Kiana noticed that Mei was slightly taller.She pulled her into a hug.After that they went to st. Freya.She would have to explain this to Theresa and Himeko.
