Chapter 6: Trouble

Emerald pov: I sat down drinking my beloved hot sauce and eating some of Papyrus morning spaghetti. It's been way too long since I had any hot sauce. "Sis, don't forget about today!" "I didnt Leo." "Then finish eating so we can go!" My brother can be so impatient sometimes. But I know he's just excited to hang out with Frisk. Sometimes...these happy moments can help forget about the bad ones. Sadly, it's only for a while. I checked my soul last night to see it...changed. There were white marks now, and it was upside down. Plus, the tail was getting super annoying. Once I finished eating me and my bro said goodbye to Papyrus and Sans and headed outside. It was quiet, except for the snow crunching underneath us, but other than that it was calming. But, why do I feel like....I then saw something glowing red hiding in the trees. "Hey Leo, give me a minute, okay, I forgot something. I'll catch you over there." My brother looked worried but shrugged it off "Ok, but don't fall asleep cause I will count that minute" Knowing him he will "Sure thing, see you in a bit!" Once I saw Leo running toward town, I walked where I last saw the light "Horror, what are you doing here?" He then teleported in front of me but..something was wrong. He looked worried. Why is everyone worried today? "Hey, is it about the head dog? Im really- " No...its not that. Look, Im...Im sorry" Sorry? "For what?" I was getting confused. Horror showed up just to tell me sorry? What did he do? "Hey, Horror. I see you got a head start." someone said. I turned around and saw two skeletons. One with glowing eyes and their hood up. Another that had black goop falling from their eye socket. Something about them....gives me a bad feeling. "Horror, who are these two?" I said while thinking of a way out of here. "Horror. You never mentioned your 2 best buddies?" he said dramatically hurt. Suddenly he was in front of me "The names killer. Knife to meet you" he brought his knife way too close for my liking. "And that's Dust" 'Killer' said pointing to the one with the hood. If it weren't for the creepy looks that gave the clue, their names definitely gave it away. "Our boss wants to see ya. So you're gonna come with us." Dust said. I only sighed........."Nope" The two looked annoyed while Horror looked like I was crazy. "What?" Dust and killer said. "I said no way. You two seem like crazy killers, not to mention one of you is literally named Killer. So no thanks" I turned away and walked off "Plus, I'm busy today. Why don't you reschedule for tomorrow." That's when someone appears in front of me "And who said you had a choice?" I suddenly felt someone grab me from behind. Oh great. "Now we can do this the hard way or the painful way." I'm starting to hate Dust more. "Hmmm how about the hard way!" Before they could react I used my tail and threw Dust against a tree. Finally my tail is actually useful. I barely dodged a knife that was thrown at me. I kept dodging but two against one is hardly a fair fight. The plan right now would be to dodge until I tire them out but seeing them fight. They might be able to last longer than I could. I could lure them out but that would risk people's lives. I felt a sudden pain in my shoulder. Shoot. Now I might be slower. I continued to dodge and attack but they continue to teleport. I grabbed Dust again and threw them to Killer. I ran as fast I could to town. Until something grabbed me. it .. was a tentacle with black goop dripping. Wait. Black goop? Didnt Dream- That could only mean. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here" Nightmare
