It's admirable how your musicality
drowns the whines of my insanity.

George loved parties, ever since he had enrolled in college for his studies, his friends brought him to the best parties they could find.
More than the party itself and the music, what really appealed to George were the drinks and the expensive liquors that the rich students owned in their parents' houses.
He didn't have to mind showing up drunk at home because he had a dorm to sleep in the campus, so his friends had to go through the hassle of bringing him to the dorm.George had never thought he had a drinking problem, mostly because he stopped getting wasted at parties after graduation, he thought that it was just stress that led him to drink.
Which was true actually.
"George." Dream called him, the cold breeze of the night drowned by the warm tone of the blonde's voice. A laugh couldn't contain itself and escaped from his lips.
He liked to drink. In those simple moments nothing worried and for once he could feel to be in control of his emotions. No worries, no sadness, no school, no work, no parents, no Claire, no marriage, he just felt the euphoric feeling of floating in a liquor bubble.
He felt his eyelids heavier than ever and for some damned reason he couldn't feel his tongue, not being able to form a word, not that he minded anyway. All he wanted right now was to sleep his booze away and hopefully wake up feeling better.
And suddenly, for some reason the noises around became all too loud, the sound of leaves brushing against each other wasn't so pleasant anymore, he could hear the rumbling of car engines from miles away yet he couldn't feel a soul around him. He didn't remember alcohol giving him this effect.
He remember having a little chat with some guy. He seemed interested in him. But he gave a creepy energy and George quickly finished his drink to get back to Dream. Maybe that guy spiked his drink in a brief moment when he wasn't looking."Damn there are some crazy creeps in the streets sometimes." he thought.
"Hey, stay awake." Dream's worried voice reached his ears as he gently slapped his right cheek, "If you pass out we gotta take you to the hospital."
His voice was calming, George thought. Those deep green eyes were piercing and George could still see the beautiful shades they had even though he saw them yellow.George could start to feel the hard pavement he was sitting on and the firm bricked wall of a building hurt his ass and back, the street lights looked so bright he just wanted to close his eyes and cover them with his hands, but Dream kept him grounded to reality and so he just complied.
"Claaay..." George dragged his words, looking at the blond's tense expression as he chuckled, "Don' be sad."
He cupped Dream's cheeks, and laughed as he looked at his expression soften. He rested his forehead on his shoulder, a groan escaping his lips.
"My head is'o heavyy." he slurred.
"Please don't fall asleep." Dream pleaded, he sounded genuinely worried even George could pick up the little crack in his voice.
"I'll hum you a sooong." George said dragging his words and Dream's expression faltered, but he nodded. It didn't took long for George to pick a hummable song but for Dream felt like an hour. Soon enough soft hums escaped George's lips, Dream couldn't exactly pinpoint where he heard it, it sounded like a waltz of some sort by the time George got caught up in his mind and started tapping the rhythm of the song on Dream's thigh, making him get flustered for some reason unknown to him.
