Months passed..

After months of being with Mikey
and getting to know him, Y/n learned
that he isn't always the cold hearted
criminal you thought he was. He
actually cares about you. In a strange
way, his eyes sparkled whenever he
looked at you and you could feel that
he was trying to protect you. You two were getting closer and closer and finally, one day, he speaks up.

"Y/n.. I have a question for you."

Mikey looks at y/n flustered.

"Go on"

Y/n relax herself at the grass, as they watch the view infront of them.

"You know I'm a criminal. I know I
can never be in a relationship with
you but...but you make me happy.
You bring out the goodness in me
So, I have to ask.."

He goes very close to you and stares at
you with a soft look.

"Do you think that you might be
able to fall for a guy like me if i
change?"

Y/n looks at him slowly blushing,

"I- yes.. ofc.."

Y/n smiles sidely, but turns into sad again

"But your a ghost mikey.."

Sighs.

He smiles again and seems genuinely
happy.

"That means more than you'll ever
know, Y/n. Thank you."

He sits up and leans against you

"Do you know what you've done to
me, Y/n? You've made me want to change, you've made me feel loved and cared for. you make me.. feel human.."

Mikey smile sadly.

Time skip.

A year past.

Mikey completely change into a good person.

A year passed and Mikey had changed
a lot, he became more selfless and
had started to consider how his
actions affected others. He had also
tried to make amends to those he had
wronged in the past.

He was slowly becoming a better
person, and as promised, he
continued to haunt Y/n.

One day after a year, he looked at her
and smiled.

"I've changed. a lot, All because of
you. Your influence got to me and I
realized how horrible of a person I
was.. I was blind. Thank you."

"Your welcome."

My eyes wide as. suddenly mikey starts to disappear,

"I guess God did accept you.. I'll miss
you.."

I look at mikey with a teary eyes.

Mikey looks surprised, shocked as
he starts to disappear and he smiles for one last time..

"It looks like I was wrong after all, Y/n. This whole time, I thought my fate was already decided but I think I finally know that I'm going somewhere good."

He said and he completely.. disappears, leaving behind his scarf..

Y/n starts to sobs as she grab his scarf he left and she put it on.

"I'll miss you mikey.."

Just like that. Mikey is gone, He finally got the second chance he always wanted. to change his fate. He finally has a chance to make it into Heaven, where he belongs.

The scarf that he left smells just like him, it smells like happiness and love, a reminder of the time you spent together.

Time passed quickly, and yet you still haven't move on. Not even abit, you cried all day and all night, thinking it all over. You tried to accept that mikey is finally in peace.. but you can't help but cry, missing him all day.
