"Don't you two hate each other? Why would he ever fall in love with you?" Daeun scoffs. "Just stay away from him and you won't have any problems with me.""Be honest. Do you feel threatened by me?" Zhang Hao asks her. "You hated me in the past because you wanted Hanbin all to yourself, didn't you? Is that feeling of jealousy starting to come back to you?" He smirks.
"Why would I feel threatened or be jealous of you? Hanbin would never break up with me over someone like you."
"Then why do you care so much if I'm around Hanbin or not? Like you said, we hate each other, so I was already planning on staying away from him... but now that you threatened me like this, it kind of makes me want to get close to him."
"Daeun!" They hear from the school entrance and see Hanbin waiting for her there.
"Coming!" Daeun tells him, then turns to Zhang Hao. "You better stay away from him and stay quiet about this. Don't you dare tell Hanbin what we talked about." She walks away from him and rushes over to Hanbin before taking his hand.
"What were you talking with him about?" Hanbin asks her.
"Oh, I was just apologizing to him for being so mean to him in the past. I told him that I hope we can be friends."
"Why would you want to be friends with him? He's the one who spread the rumors about me, have you forgotten?"
"Oh, it's been years. Maybe he changed."
"You're too nice sometimes." Hanbin pulls her closer to him as they both walk into the school.
"But does that mean you'll never forgive him? You two used to be best friends after all."
"And that's exactly why I won't forgive him. He didn't believe me when I told him I didn't spread those rumors about him. Instead, he made up those same rumors about me even though they're not true."
"Yeah, you're right. That was so messed up of him."
Zhang Hao stays outside of the school for a few more seconds. Today's his first day and he's really nervous. Ricky already walked into the school with Yujin even though it's his first day today as well. Then again, Ricky has two friends in this school who can show him around, so of course he's not as nervous as Zhang Hao. Zhang Hao finally gets the courage to walk into the school and goes to the main office to get his schedule.
"Are you new here? What's your name?"
"Zhang Hao." He answers and the lady prints out his schedule. "Thank you." He takes it from her before walking out of the office. Just as he's looking down at his schedule, not really understanding it, he bumps into someone, making him drop his schedule.
"Oh, I'm really sorry." The other guy apologizes and quickly picks up Zhang Hao's schedule.
"Oh, don't worry." Zhang Hao tells him as the guy looks down at his schedule.
"Are you new here?" He asks and Hao nods. "I can show you around if you'd like. It's only right for me to do that after bumping into you. I should've really watched where I was going."
"It's okay. I wasn't really looking either."
"I'm Matthew, by the way." He extends his hand out for him to shake.
"Zhang Hao." He shakes his hand.
"So the first class you have is on the second floor. Come with me." Matthew starts walking towards the staircase and Zhang Hao follows him. "It's over here. I have the class right next to this one, so you're in luck. I'll be able to show you your class after that. You also have some classes with my friend Gunwook. I'll introduce you to him later and he can show you your other classes."
