Leo and Raph 2012 story

Part 5

(Leo's P.O.V)

Raphael froze, he looked up at the Shredder.

"R-Raph! Wha-What are you doing!? Run!" I cried, Raph reached out for me, but Shredder wasn't having it, he grunted at Xever, the fish grabbed Raphael's wrist. Xever dragged Raph away, and Raph sorrowfully followed.

I couldn't believe it, Raph didn't even put up a fight, was he too late, have they taken my brother's already.

As if Shredder read my mind,"No Leonardo, the turtle's doing is of his own free will, it took some... convincing, but Xever has broken Raphael, he listens to him now, and if he doesn't, let's just say, your brother won't exactly have a good time."

My pupils shrunk, I ran at the monsters that hurt my brother enraged.

(Third Person)

Xever kneed Raphael in the gut, Raph fell to his hands and knees,"Shredder gives you too much pity," Xever said, Raph was going to growl and snap back but he stopped himself,"Good boy," Xever said.

Leonardo rammed into the fish, he turned to Raph, his brother looked up at him,"N-No... Leo, you need to leave, it was trap... please! They'll hurt you!" Raph cried, Leo ignored him.

"Raph, you're much more important to me," Leo stated, he put his hand on Raph's shoulder, his brother's eyes widened,"Look out!" he leaped in front of Leo and grabbed the blade of Shredder, Shredder glared down at him before forcing his blade into Raph's hands.

Tolerating the pain, Raph used all his strength to put the weapon to a stop, Leo acted quickly fending off Shredder, grabbing Raph's forearm and running to the nearest Manhole.

Raphael fell to his knees looking at his bleeding hands,"Raph! Your hands!" Leo said, he pull out a bandage for his brother, but Raph shook his head,"Don't worry about me, we should get back to the Lair..."

Raph walked past Leo, but his brother pulled him back,"Raph, what are you talking about, how do you not expect me to worry, you've been gone for days, I don't want you hurting anymore..." Leo said, Raph pulled away.

"Well guess what I have been hurting! For days! You should've stopped looking for me, because it'll get you killed! He'll make me do things, horrible things!" Raph cried, Leo reached for his brother again, but Raph slapped his hand away,"Stop! Stop trying! I can't fight anymore Leo, I don't want to! But I have to! To keep you safe! Please! I can't lose any of you!" Raph started to sob.

Leo watched as his brother break down, though he protested, Leo hugged his brother, Raph squirmed in his grasp,"Raph, I want to help you but you need to let down your walls, let me in, if you don't... it'll destroy you..." Leo said softly, Raph froze, he cried more, he relaxed as best as he could, feeling his brother's arms around him.

"Leo..." he choked out, Leo pulled him closer,"Raph... tell me, what did they do to you?" Raph looked down, aware that Leo wasn't talking about his physical wounds, but his emotional and spiritual.

"Th-They said th-things... I-I can't L-Leo d-don't make m-me say it pl-please..." Raph sobbed, Leo pulled away from the hug and cupped Raph's face,"Raph... I wish I could, but I need to know, I need to help... but you need to tell me..."

"Hah! You think they'll come for you?! You think they care? Face it, this was the perfect chance to ditch you!" Xever cackled, Raph felt the tears run down as Xever cut his skin again.

"You're nothing to them! Just a freak who can't do anything for his family! Shredder is the only one who could understand you! To him, You're useful, you're something to him, why do you think he wants you so bad?!"
