From a distance, the muffled voice called to become clearer the second time. "Wake up". No, not yet. "Wake up, open your eyes". It was unpleasant but the light still came in. Still not the right moment to get up. "Bastard wake up now !" Suddenly, the sound was completely clear. Han opened his eyes wide. He squinted his eyes, trying to adjust to the light as he sat up in the comfortable bed. All he could distinguish was Lee Minho's silhouette.
"Ugh Minho. I already told you not to open that damn curtain as I wake up." He complained, sighing through his nose.
The target giggled. "We've got a lot of work today, the manager told me to wake you up."
"I barely slept dude."
The young boy stretched before taking a look at the alarm on his bed shelf. "5 am".
"I definitely have to remember that I'm an idol more often." As he turned his head, Minho was already gone. "That boy."Straykids already started many things as a group, quickly catching people's attention. Yet, none of them knew that time would fly by that fast. If the young boys were most of the time really hyped by their career, they were also really exhausted and sometimes overwhelmed. This work was a very demanding job somehow. Gladly, the boys were getting closer everyday. Especially two of them ; Han Jisung and Lee Minho.
It was never a secret, everybody knew since they first looked at each other. No, actually, they stared into each other's souls. What if something was meant to happen ? They would never know.
Han finished getting ready for the hard upcoming day. Soon enough, he got out of his room. The members were sitting around the table, in front of some hot chocolate or coffee. The boys greeted him.
"Here. I made you a cup of hot chocolate since you're already late." The leader handed him a boiling mug.
"Thanks hyung, it's very nice of you." He quickly sat down to take a sip.
It was a quite calm atmosphere but they suddenly heard a knock on the door. The manager called : "Please hurry up".
The leader answered quickly. "Let me just drink that." Han grumbled. "But you're so slow !" Seungmin decided to remind. He was obviously teasing him, however, it wasn't the best moment to tease Han. The chestnut haired boy gave him a scary murderer-like glance. That day, Jisung was not really in a good mood, so of course, he wanted to be left alone. He was bouncing his leg up and down due to his anxiety. Minho noticed this behavior so he got up, went behind his friend and gently massaged his shoulders, making Han jump a little at the unexpected contact.
"Calm down Jisung, it's okay." He almost warned. His friend did let out a small sigh before drinking the hot chocolate milk again. When he was done, the youngest got up too, placing his mug in the sink, in order to wash it later.
"Let's go now." Hyunjin inquired.
Straykids got out of the room. The manager was waiting for them. They greeted him before following him around in the building, ending up in the large practice room.
The manager walked in front of the eight boys, waiting for some attention. "Okay so, today you are going to practice for Backdoor's choreo. The dance teacher will be there soon, you can warm up."
As usual, they began to slowly warm up, step by step, beginning with some stretching. However, Han wasn't feeling like it so he headed to Chris to talk about it as he always finds a way to cheer him up. On the other hand, Minho also noticed so he walked to the two men.
"Han ?" He nicely called.
"Hm ? What's up ?" The boy turned around to face him. They looked at each other.
"If you dance, I'll dance." Minho tried to give him some energy. His friend watched him with sparkly eyes.
"And if you don't I'll dance anyway." He continued and giggled, placing his hand in front of his mouth. He was happy because he managed to make his friend laugh. However, Han decided to hit his shoulder playfully.
"At least I made you smile." Minho smirked. The leader couldn't help but grin. "Come on now, let's go. We can do it." Lee Know grabbed Han's arm and walked him to the middle of the room.
"I have no other choice I guess." The chestnut haired boy mumbled. "Oh no, you do not." His friend replied. Quickly, Han warmed up. And there he was. Thanks to a little boost, he could literally dance for hours. The boy's pale face became reddish and sweaty. Minho was joyful every time he watched his friend dance, telling himself that he managed to give him some determination. Eventually, he believed hard enough for both of them. The day ended faster than they thought it would. In a haste, Jisung trotted towards Minho, who was leaving the practice room.
"What's up buddy ?" Lino turned his head to look at his friend with a soft beam. They turned the lights of the room off as they walked together in the corridor. Han was trying to catch his breath as he spoke with a dry throat. "Well, I wanted to say thank you." They stopped walking as they arrived in front of one of the dorm's room. "Don't thank me, thank yourself." Minho once again smiled softly. That contagious smiley face made Han smile too. "Now get inside and take a shower, you stinky rat." Lino pointed out the door. What a gentle and lovely man.
Minho had to walk a bit further to get to his own room. One after another, they took some refreshing showers, cooling down their sore legs on which they could barely balance on anymore. Once everyone was all clean, each member of the band went into their beds.
In order to express friendliness, and also because he couldn't get his eyes closed, Han sent a text to Minho.
"Hey Lino, thank you for today."
"Why ?" Minho replied, confused.
"Because you gave me a little...boost ? And I managed to find my energy, thanks to yours." The boy explained.
"Oh, well, it's only the beginning. I'll help you when you need to. Count on me, stinky rat."
The youngest of the two smirked before shutting down his phone. "Goodnight."
