Kal'tsit and Hoshiguma went to the aforementioned lynx's office. Once they arrived, she unlocked the door and allowed the oni to walk inside.

-Here Hoshiguma, take a seat.

-Thank you, Dr. Kal'tsit. – She sat in front of the lynx's desk. Letting a small sigh, Kal'tsit took seat as well, making herself comfortable. She then spoke.

-So, summarizing what we've talked about. Yesterday morning, a black hole appeared in front of the LDG headquarters, but no one got pulled by pure luck... - In the video Hoshiguma had showed her, the black sphere appeared out of nowhere, and after a couple of minutes it disappeared. It had an eerie similarity to the one that took Amiya and the rest back in Chernobog, and that made Kal'tsit even more worried.

Hoshiguma nodded. – Yeah, that's pretty much what happened, but...

-But what? – asked the lynx.

-Well, the video that you saw was edited, mainly for safety reasons. I'm telling you this because, in the cut part, something happened. – She shrugged her shoulders. – A robotic vehicle came out from the portal at that moment.

This picked Kaltsit 's interest.

-Do you have any pictures of it?

-Yeah, here they are. – Hoshiguma took out a folder containing several photos and handed it to Kal'tsit. She immediately opened it and took a look.

A robotic-like vehicle was shown in the photos. It had lots of cameras and other bullshit mounted on it. I her mind, the Lynx deduced that it was a probe. Looking more closely at them, she made out more details from this probe. On its side, it had printed a logo saying "World Beyond Labs", and under it...

Her eyes widened.

-No... this can't be possible. It has been more than a millennium since that... How...?

-Hey, Dr Kal'tsit, are you okay? It's like you've seen a ghost or something...

Realizing the expression she had made, Kal'tsist quickly recovered her stoic face and composure.

-Ejem, sorry I distracted myself. – The oni looked at her with an odd look, but didn't say anything. Instead, she looked at the inscription under the World Beyond log. There, someone had written a message saying the following: "From the United States of America with love"

-"United States..." , I wonder what that means...

-Yeah, me too, Hoshiguma. – said Kal'tsit. – Now, with this evidence I can affirm that the incident at Chernobg wasn't isolated. However, apart from this, we have nearly zero clues of its origin.

-You're right. – muttered Hoshiguma. – Anyways, thank you for allowing me to show you this.

-BEEEEP!!! – Suddenly the general alarm went live across the landship. The two women exchanged worried glares.

-Let's see what's happening. – sentenced the lynx.

When the duo arrived at the control room, they were faced with a chaotic situation. Alarms were yelling and Rhodes Island operators were going from one place to another. Kal'tsit grabbed one of them and pulled him out.

-Liskarm! Mind to tell what the hell is happening?!

-There's an emergency going on at the main warehouse! – exclaimed the vouivre. – We don't know how, but a "thing" of unknown origin appeared out of the blue and started to absorb everything around it! We've already evacuated everyone! – she pointed at the screens. – Look! That's the anomaly!
