Chapter 29

"W-What did you say?" You looked at Jungkook who still seemed busy. "I said we're coming back." The colour drained off your face in seconds. "I know you're shocked and excited, we are too. Its been years since we last met, from the day you stayed here." Why the hell is she saying that? Why is she blaming it on you? She should say since the day they left you here. "I'll tell you about our flight and stuff when its confirmed. Take care sweetie." She hung up.

You placed a hand over your chest feeling your heart clenching. Its painful. Grabbing the glass of water with shaky hands you gulped it down in one go. "What do i do? What do i do?" You muttered while moving back and forth. You can't meet them and even if you can, you can never stay with them. Do they know your address? What if they come back permanently? Your life will be ruined.

Jungkook turned back to you but his smile dropped the instant he saw your pale face. "Whats wrong? Did something happen?" He looked around to see if the source of your discomfort is here although its in Japan for now. "Are you ok?" You nodded and smiled. "Just tired." He stood up then helped you get up. You both made your way to the car and he again helped you settle inside. Just great. The night got ruined bcz of your parents. What do you even tell him? That you don't want to meet or stay with your parents? He'll think you're crazy but you doubt that.

"You know you can tell me if somethings wrong." He said while looking at you. You shook your head. "Its really nothing." He nodded and got back to driving. You feel guilty. For ruining the night, for ruining his mood. The car shouldn't be silent, especially on you first date night. He was so happy earlier now he's gone silent just like you. He deserves to know the cause. "Did i tell you about my parents?" He nodded and looked at you. "You said they're in Japan for business and that you don't have a good relation with them."

You nodded and looked down. "I-I just got a call right now, from my mother." Now he's sure about the source of your discomfort. "They're coming back to korea." He looked at you. Although he doesn't have a detailed info on them but he knows you're not comfortable. "You're worried?" You shrugged. "I'm worried but scared more." He frowned but interwined his hand with yours. "Don't be, it'll be alright." You looked at him amd smiled. "Yeah."

He stopped infront of your house and got off with you. You walked him in before he could leave. "Do you have a spare key with you?" He asked while sitting down. "For the house?" He nodded. "I think i do." You went upstairs and came back with a key. "For emergency purposes." You smiled. "Should i stay till you're asleep." You wanna say yes but its late. "I'll be ok and its getting late too."

He looked at the time. "Its not that late." He stood up and circled an arm around your waist while pulling you closer. "Don't overthink about it and sleep quickly. I'll come to pick you up for university." You smiled and nodded. He pecked your forehead and let go. "Take care and call me if you need me. Don't worry about the time when doing that." You nodded. "Ok." He smiled. "Ok." He finally left which he didn't wanted to do and you went to bed.

It took you five hours to process everything, to go through everything, about you and Jungkook, about your parents, about your life which is going to be completely different  from tonight onwards. You stared at the ceiling until a smile  took over your face. Atleast Jungkook will be with you. You're not alone anymore.

He walked in the room, his boots were the only thing heard in the silent room. He sat on the couch with one leg on top of another. The man sitting infront of him gulped. "As simple as it may sound, it really is that simple." He looked at him. "I'll provide you security for whatevers going on and nobody finds out what happened." The man nodded.

Jungkook signalled his guards who brought Heeseung. "My son." He stood up and hugged him. Jungkook stood up. "Nobody should know about this." The man looked at him.  "I assure you, no one will know." Jungkook nodded and left. Apparently elections are coming up. Heeseung was going undercover bcz anyone could get him and use him as a blackmail to make his father step down. Jungkook sighed and sat in his car. "Leave, i'll drive myself." He told his guards and driver who nodded and went off.
