FATHERS DAY

Celine's POV:
Today is the first Father's Day Timo gets to celebrate as a dad. I heard Timo wake up and come down to the smell of bacon cooking downstairs in the kitchen. He's in his usual sleep attire sweats and no shirt. "Oh my gosh, what is all this??" Timo says as i look over at him while I was making breakfast, our daughter sitting in her high chair nomming on little pieces of pancakes in her "Daddy's Girl" onesie. There's gifts wrapped in bows sitting on the counter. "Happy Father's Day, baby!" I say to him, meeting him with a kiss.
"Thank you, baby! You didn't have to do all this." "Yes, I did! It's your first Father's Day and you deserve it. You're an amazing daddy to our baby girl, and to me." I smirk. Timo smirks at my comment and pulls me in tight, his hands grabbing onto my ass, his lips on mine. I moan against his lips before i pull away. "Did you see the outfit I put her in today?" "I did!" Timo walks over to her in her high chair. "Meine wunderschöne Scarlett Luna. Bist du Papas Mädchen?" "Da!" she yells out, handing a piece of pancake to Timo. "Aw, are you sharing with daddy? That's so nice. Thank you, sweetheart." Timo lets her put the piece of pancake in his mouth. "Why don't you open your presents, T?" I say to him. "Oh yeah. Let me do that."
Timo opens the card first that reads "Dad looks good on you." which gives him a chuckle. "To my husband, the love of my life, the father of our beautiful Scarlett. Thank you for being an amazing husband & father to your favorite girls this almost past year. We both love you so very much. Happy Father's Day, my love ♡ -Love, Celine & Scarlett ." There's also a little hand drawing Scarlett did on the inside.

No one's POV:
Timo gets teary eyed. "This is so sweet baby. Thank you." he gives Celine a kiss. "Of couse baby." Timo opens a small box that contains a leather bracelet with a charm that has Scarlett's birthday in roman numerals.
"November 22, 2022. My fall baby. This is the best. Thank you, darlin." Timo says to Celine. "You're very welcome, my love." She respond. Timo puts it on right away and smiles looking at it. "Never taking this off. This is great, truly." "You have one more, babe." Timo opens up a box with a frame that has a cute line drawing of Timo & Scarlett when she was first born.
"Oh my god, babe. This is so nice, what the hell? Did you have someone commission this?" "I did." Celine smiled.
"This is going right into my office. Thank you so much baby. And thank you, pumpkin." he kisses Scarlett on the cheek. "Da!" Scarlett reaches out to Timo again. "Yes, baby girl?" She puckers her lips for a kiss. "Not even a year yet & you're already begging daddy for kisses just like mommy." Timo chuckles.

Celine's POV:
"Here you go, T. Fresh pancakes and bacon for you." I say, putting a plate down for him on the counter. "Thank you, my love. Coffee?" Timo sits down on a stool at the counter. "Yep. Right here, dragoste. It just got done brewing." I set down his espresso for him. "Perfect. Thank you so so much for all of this, Celine. Really. Everything is perfect. I could not be more grateful for all for all of this and to have you as my amazing wife." "You're very welcome, baby. I can't wait to continue celebrating with you throughout the day." "What are today's plans?" Timo asks.
"We'll be hanging out at home for a bit then we're meeting your dad, mom, sister and Gerry (brother in law) for lunch." "Oh, right. We're doing lunch because later my sister is taking Dad out to the ballgame tonight."
"Yes, and then we're taking scar to the beach after lunch."
"Yes, I remember now. Hopefully next year we can take scar to the game. Being almost two, hopefully she can handle crowds a little better and won't be so fussy." "I hope so too. Five minutes at the carnival and she was over it." "Yeah, I think it was just too hectic for her. But she loves the beach just like her daddy, huh baby girl?" he looks over to her & she just smiles big.
After breakfast, Timo & Scarlett and I get cleaned up. I get the kitchen cleaned while Timo plays with Scarlett in the living room. I love seeing them play together. It absolutely melts my heart to see my husband with our daughter. He's an amazing dad just like i always knew he would be. After awhile, we met his dad and my sister and her man at a restaurant near by for lunch.
"There's my girl! Let me have her!" Timo's dad says as he sees Scarlett as we all meet outside the restaurant. "Pa! Pa!" Scarlett calls out to her grandfather. I hand Scarlett over to him. "My big girl! You've gotten so big!" He says giving her a hug. "How have you guys been?" "We've been good, Dad. What about you guys?" Timo asks. "We've been great! Working, getting the house shaped up & the yard."  "Hey, if you ever need my help Dad, let me know."
Timo mentions. "You know I will, son. Is your sister here yet?" "Not yet, she should be soon." I, Timo, and his dad catch up a bit while waiting for Timo's sister & Gerry . Once everyone is there, we all get our table and settle in. We all order then have little conversations with each other. At one point, Scarlett starts to get fussy, so Timo takes her outside to calm her down. I watch them through the window, Timo's bouncing her up and down, petting her curly blonde brunette head.
Timo's dad says to me, "He's a really good father, isn't he?"
"He really is." I smile. "He's so great with her. I always knew he'd be a really good dad. You & mama Meier raised him so well." "Thank you, Celine. That means a lot." "You're very welcome. Happy Father's Day, to you. I hope you're enjoying lunch." "I am, thank you." He smiles.  Timo comes back in, craddling Scarlett in his arms as she's passed out. "Hey, is she okay?" I ask Timo as he sits back down. "Yeah, she's fine. She just needed some quiet & rocks to fall asleep. It is past nap time." Timo replies.
"Good, good. Thankfully she can sleep in noise."
Everyone finishes up dinner & a couple gifts were passed.
Timo & i had gotten
His a gift card for Home Depot to put towards his house along with paying for dinner.  Timo's dad and sister both had gotten Timo a card with a Pure Hockey gift card for his first
Father's Day. "'You guys really didn't have to do this. Thank you." Timo said to them.
"Of course, Timo! It's your first official Father's Day, we had too." Timo's sister responded with a smile. The others nodding in agreement  After lunch, Timo, Scarlett & i headed to the beach. Scarlett is fully awake now after her little nap. Before we actually get out to the sand, i give her a diaper change and get her dressed in her Little Mermaid swimsuit and hat, with little sandals  Timo & i had worn our bathing suits underneath our clothes to make it easy. "Are my girls ready?" Timo asks Scarlett & i. "We're ready!" I respond. We all head out onto the sand and lay out a big blanket & set up an umbrella before going in the water. Timo has Scarlett standing up as she holds onto his hands and he walks with her on the shore.
She giggles as the water hits her legs. I take videos and photos of them being cute together,  even posting on on my Instagram stories with "happy father's day @TimoMeier96 the best daddy to our little Scarlett " The three of us sit in on the shore and play in the water, taking the in the sun. "This is the best first Father's Day ever, baby." Timo says to me . "I'm glad, honey." I smile at him. "I know last year we celebrated too a little bit since you were pregnant, but this one's just so much more special because she's here, making me an actual father.
I've truly never been happier,  getting to be her dad & getting to be your husband. I love you so much, Celine. "I love you so much too, babe." He gives me a sweet, passionate kiss. We continued our day at the beach playing in the water & building sandcastles. After the beach, we headed home, get washed from the sand, & give some dinner to Scarlett before getting her ready for bed. Timo sits with scar in her rocking chair and they do their little nightly routine. He reads her a bed time story, gives her lots of kisses and sings her a song. "And I love you so

I tell them I don't know
I guess they understand
How lonely life has been
But life began again
The day you took my hand" Timo sings 'and I love you so' by Elvis quietly to her.
"She's about to pass out isn't she?" I ask. "Ohh yeahh." he chuckles softly. He hands her over to me like always so i can give her kisses goodnight & set her down in her crib.
Once she's all settled, Timo & I have dinner yourselves.

"So, daddy, ready to got to bed?" She smirked "Yeah, I think I am." Timo smirked back. They both head upstairs to call it a night. If you get what I mean.
