Aether X Reader - Stressful work

Idk I feel lonely.

Back and forth you have been running around delivering files to each Papa in the Ministry and just as you got to Papa nihil's office you stumbled in dropping a full stack of files

You started to sort out the files as Nihil looks up from his paper "Pick those up faster" he says with a scoff

You picked up the files and give him a small pile watching him as he skims through them before he tosses a file onto the ground

"Not mine..So stupid." He says muttering the last part

You picked it up and nodded starting to tear up "Sorry Papa Nihil...." you mumbled leaving his office with the rest of the files before you stumbled forwards hitting a ghoul making the files go everywhere

You held in your tears that were soon to spill while crouching onto the floor and putting the files together before the ghoul finally said something "Luv?" He says softly

Making you look up at the ghoul you see Aether and your tears started to spill while continue gathering the files

Aether saw this and he instantly crouched down to you and cupped your face "Luv...What's wrong" he said softly wiping your tears

"T-Too much work..." you sniffle looking away from him still trying to contain your tears

It was too much for you...You had been running around all day doing your chores and Ifrit's since the ghoul had been called upon a special duty from Papa Terzo.

You gladly took his chores but soon realised that it was too much through how much stress you have had today...

"How about we drop the chores? So you and I could take some time to relax.." Aether said as you finally looked at him again giving him a soft nod

He took the files from you and stood up letting you stand up aswell. You both started walking down the corridor to drip off the rest of the files sticking close to your ghoul

After you had dropped off the files he took you by the hand and walked over with you back through the corridor and into the common room as soon as you walked in all the stress just melted away

The ghoul had sat onto the couch and pulled you into his lap wrapping his arms around you comfortably "I love you.." You whispered snuggling up into his embrace

"I love you too..." He says as he places a kiss onto your head with a big smile on his face.
