Nang makarating kami sa ilalim ng puno ay huminga ako nang malalim bago bumaling sa kanya.
"Spill it." malditang ani ko.
"I like you" he just said it like it was the answer to my whole confusion.
I was speechless for God's knows how long it is before finally speaking. "The f are you saying, dude? Are freaking on drugs?" I saw how his face changed by the words I used.
"Stop cursing at me" he said emotionless.
"I didn't curse you. I just curse but didn't intend to di-" he stopped me from justifying my cursing.
"Nevermind. Listen to me" aniya
Hindi ako sumagot at hinayaan siyang magsalita
"I have a job offer for y-" I stopped him
"I don't need your offer, I have a job who can pay" he also stopped me from talking.
"I know that. But my offer is better with a high salary more than your currently job" aniya na nagpaningning sa mga mata ko.
Pigil ang sayang nararamdaman. "And what is it, aber?"
"Be my secretary." he said as he handed me a card "That's my calling card. If ever you are interested, just call me anytime. My offer will always be available only for you. I'll wait for your call" he explains.
"But I am still studying. If I'd accept your offer, then-" pinigil niya ang sasabihin ko.
"No need to worry about it. I'll give you a flexible schedule that'll fit to your classes. You'll be my second secretary just incase you accept it. My work was really hectic and I'll be really needing two secretary." sagot niya sa akmang tanong ko and left me hanging.
Nakatulala lang ako sa kinatatayuan niya kanina bago nagbaba ng tingin sa calling card na binigay niya at tumingin sa papalayong bulto niya hanggang sa sumakay na ito ng kotse at lisanin ang lugar.

"DAMN, namuhay ka sa karangyaan noon pero you didn't know him or even heard of him? Siya lang naman ang may ari ng HALOS, as in HALOS lahat ng business dito sa Pilipinas. Hindi lang dito, kundi pati na rin sa ibang bansa ay laganap ang kompanya nyan. Gadgets, foods, accessories, dresses for men or women, furnitures, name it. And oh, don't even ask kung bakit hindi siya sikat because he is very lowkey, I mean low-profiled-man. He'd pay cash to take down the news, pics or anything about him because he doesn't want to be known. People barely see him outside, probably bahay at company lang siya so yeah, even the makukulit at pursigidong reporters ay kulelat to fish some informations. Kaya there's a lot of people na hindi siya kilala sa muka, pero sa pangalan oo." Hinihingal sa mabilis at malakas na boses nito. "Pero wait, why is he giving this to you though? I know na this isn't his thing. Also, why not gives a company's card? This looks like his personal card. Diba nga low-profiled-man so bakit siya magbibigay ng ganito with a personal infos pa?" Nanlalaking matang pagpapatuloy niya.
"I don't know either. The first time I saw him was in the bar. I served him his order and that's it. And for your main question, he gave me a cc because he is offering me a BETTER job MORE THAN my currently work" emphasizing the words, as he said.
"LEGITTT?! Wow, iba talaga ang ganda ng friend ko!!!" exaggerated niyang aniya.
"Gaga, baka naawa lang sa akin. Muka bang magkakagusto sa akin 'yon? Haler. Saka study first ako."
"Wala naman aking sinabing magugustuhan ka non, assuming ka. Pero go mo na teh. Malaking tulong na yan for you." pagtulak niya sa akin.
"Pag iisipan ko pa." aniya ko at sabay na kaming tumulak sa kotse niya at lisanin ang lugar papunta sa shop.
