Yeah..... sorry that I've been gone for so long. Lots going on, but I wrote another thing! Enjoy, my homies.

TW: depictions of violence, and the good ol' trauma!

***

The Eye sees all.

It sees the world, in its past, present and future.

It saw the beginning of this cursed universe.

It saw the flourish of this world, this city, and the destruction of it too.

It caused the city to destroy itself.

It saw the children struggle and become food for the monsters.

It did nothing.

It saw the frightened and glossed-over eyes of the half-eaten children, and the beady eyes of the devourers.

It did nothing.

It saw the T-Virus ravage the world, and the occupants become obsessed with TVs, abandoning life for a mutilated face and stumbling feet and ragged clothes.

It did nothing.

It saw a little boy, wearing a paper bag on his head.

It noticed him.

It saw the boy travel to the city, alone, and become hardened by the ruthlessness of the world.

It watched.

It saw the paper-bag boy destroy the monsters, and he began to seek to destroy the Eye.

It feared him.

It saw the little boy, with powers beyond his years and eyes that glitched with the T-Virus, begin to destroy the Eye.

It tried to kill the boy.

But that made the boy stronger.

So it threw him back in time, erasing his memories.

Then it did nothing again.

But the boy came back. He didn't know how he came to be, but he longed to destroy the monsters of the world.

The Eye was threatened again, so it sent him back again, erasing his memory once more.

It became a tiring cycle for the Eye.

So it watched for an idea.

Six was the offspring of the Eye.

She was the sixth creation of the Eye, as the other five were mutilated failures.

It created her, giving her biological weapons that could shred limbs cleanly off bodies.

It gave her the sight of the night, hence the piercing blue eyes.

It squashed her to be small and nimble, and a mute mouth was placed on her lips.

It carved a heart of flesh for her, but it had no living beat.

It knitted her hair as black as night, as black and tangled as her soul should be.

It begat its sharp teeth and retractable nails to her, imbuing her with power.

She was given ratty clothes, and an apathetic look upon her dirty face, and she was given a singular job: to destroy the paper-bag boy.

She was ready for anything.
