12. Siya [ dadu's love story]

Siya has came to dadu's room to see if he had taken his medicines but sees him reading a old letter and beside him there is a box which is filled with letters and albums are opened which are filled with old photographs.

'' dadu app soye nahi ? '' [Grandfather you didn't sleep?] 

'' nahi, aaj teri dadi ki bahut yaad aa rahi hai. woh hoti tho kitni kush hoti'' [no, I am missing your grandmother. if she was here today. then, she would have been happy.]🥺

''Dadu apne apni story kabhi nahi batai, aaj batao na '' [ Grandpa you never told your story. today tell ]

''aap dadi se pehli bar kaha mile?'' [ where did you meet grandma for the first time?]

Dadu ki aakein naam ho gai aur woh purani yaadon mai kho gaye. [there are tears in grandpa's eyes and he remembers his old days].

dadu is sitting on sofa and siya on the sofa.

flashback-

yeh un dinon ki baat hai 1970's . [ those were the days in 1970's] 

jab ladkiyan padne nahi jati thi par unke papa free mind the. unhone tumhari dadi ko padaya. woh school ke headmaster the.[ in those days girls don't used to study but your grandma did as his father was free mind and want her to study. he was the principle of school.]

She was beauty with brains .

mai Rampur pehli bar gaya tha aur rasta bhatak gaya aur tabhi ek ladki cycle pe aa rahi thi tho maine usse rasta pucha. aur usne galat rasta bataya jiski wajah se mujhe bahut pareshani hui aur der bhi ho gai. [I had gone to Rampur for first time and I got confused by roads. I was a girl ridding a cycle and asked her the way but she told me the wrong one because of which i had to face difficulties and i got late.] 

mai andar gaya aur mujhe masterji mile , woh papa ke dost hai. unhone pucha ki mujhe deri kaise ho gai. papa ka phone tho kabse aa chuka tha. [ when i reached, i met masterji who is my father's friend and he inquired about how i got late as my father's phone call had came long ago]

mai unhe kuch batata ki utne mai wohi ladki pani leke aai. aur mujhe dekh kar uske haat se pani chut kar zamin par gir gaya. woh dari sehmi si khadi thi. woh dari hui thi ki mai sab kuch na bata dun. [ as i was going to tell the same girl came with a glass of water and when she saw me the glass slip from her hand and water spilled. she was afraid that i will tell about her.]

pehle pehle mujhe bahut gussa aaya par uska masum sa cherra dekh kar sab bhul gaya. [ I was very angry but when i saw her face i forgot all]

woh masterji ki beti hai munni. masterji munni ko mujhe kamra dikhane bolte hai. tho uska naam munni hai. mai muskuraya. [she was the daughter of head master . her name was munni.he told her to show me my room. I smiled.]

woh mujhe kamre tak le jati hai aur maffi mangti hai. [ she showed me my room and said sorry.]

maine usse pehle hi maaf kar diya tha. par janana chahata tha ki usne mere saath aisa kyu kiya. [ I have already forgiven her but wanted to know that why she had done that with me.]

usne kaha ki ''apne mere ghar ka pata pucha tho mai ghabra gai thi isliye galt pata bataya. sorry'' [she replied with ,'' you were asking about my address so I was affraid.'']

aur uski pyari si chera bada masoom tha. maine usse kaha ki '' chalo maaf kiya, waise sundar ladkiyan rote huye acchi nahi lagti'' [ by seeing her cute face I told her ,''I forgive you as I don't like beautiful girl crying .]

aur woh sharma kar waha se chali gai. uska chera tamatar ke jaise laal ho gaya tha. [she became shy and ran away .her face was as red as tomatoes.]
