"Hyung, as much as I'd love to, I can't,"
"Ah but Ddeunoo~ Why not~"
"Hyung, I cannot come over tonight. You have a girlfriend. Ask her to do it for you."
Currently, 'Ddeunoo', or Kim Sunoo was arguing with his best friend, Park Sunghoon, on why he could not come over to help Sunghoon with homework and that the elder should just ask his girlfriend as it was easier and anyways, they had similar grades too so it "doesn't really matter," according to Sunoo.
However, to Sunghoon, it meant quite a lot. If he were to be completely honest, he liked his adorable dongsaeng much more than his so called girlfriend. He was only stuck with her because of family ties. Besides, she was a lesbian with a girlfriend and he was a hopeless romantic who had fallen and was falling even more for his best friend, Sunoo. Who was completely oblivious to this fact but also did not know that the elder did not have feelings for his 'girlfriend,' and was slightly salty about the amount of time she was able to spend with him. Not that she did.
"Sunghoonie hyung, we literally have the same grades I don't understand why you don't want to work with her? And after you finish you can come over to my apartment, we're literally only like five minutes apart."
"But Ddeunoo, I don't like her. I like you. She's only a friend."
The elder had started to get slightly frustrated, did Sunoo not get the hint? Sunghoon had constantly been flirting and teasing the younger, but even then the mentioned boy seemed to understand nothing. So, with little to no patience left and a need for an answer, Sunghoon told him.
"I- Uhm- Right- I like you too Sunghoonie hyung which is why you're my best friend and I value you more than anyone else. Which is also why i need you to do your work and then you can come over and we can do something,"
Sunoo internally slapped himself. What the hell. Kim Sunoo you idiotic embarrassment to society, why would you stutter, he obviously meant it in a friendly way or as a joke, for the love of God stop blushing and get a grip.
The younger had turned a hundred shades of red and could only be grateful the elder was not there to see his face, or he would've been teased by his hyung too, which would only have added to his embarrassment, if that was even possible.
The latter on the other hand, groaned on the other end of the phone. Honestly, as much as he loved the joy of his life, he could not help but be incredibly annoyed by the younger's stupidity right now. He had literally just blurted out a confession, potentially ruined one of his most important relationships, and was a millimetre away from making everything really awkward, but of course, Kim Sunoo remains as unknowing and pure as ever.
"Fine whatever but you better be ready I'll be there in under an hour."

Sunghoon had rushed whatever he needed to do, he wanted to get to Sunoo as soon as he could, even if that meant getting most of his homework wrong. Technically it's not my fault if I don't score well. I did ask him for help but he didn't so it's not my fault. Why is he so oblivious- I literally just confessed to him! Sunoo you adorable idiot with your foxy hazel eyes and soft pink hair. What are you so cute for!? Frustration flooded the raven haired boy's mind as he walked to Sunoo's apartment. To fit his mood was the dull grey sky, and soon, a slight drizzle revealed itself, a drizzle which ended up turning into full on downpour.
Oh for the love of Christ-
Now Sunghoon had to come back to reality as he started to run to the boy's apartment, the only thing protecting him from the heavy droplets being a random hoodie, which was already beginning to darken due to how soaked he was. After about five minutes of rushing past crowds of people with umbrellas, Sunghoon finally reached the apartment of his sun. He reached out and rang for Sunoo's apartment, number 404, and as soon as he heard the younger's gentle voice through the speaker, he rambled on, telling Sunoo to hurry and open the damn door because he was soaking and his hair was getting wet and because he was uncomfortable.
Sunoo felt slightly guilty. The elder was now sat on his bed with clothes lent from his friend, and though they were the biggest clothes he owned, they only just about fit. Maybe if Sunoo had listened to his hyung and went over, Sunghoon would not be sat on his bed, shivering, with Sunoo drying his hair for him.
"Hyung I'm sorry I should've come over, please for-"
"Sunoo, stop apologising for a moment will you, and keep drying my hair,"
The boy blushed a bright pink to match his hair, but in all honestly who wouldn't? Sunghoon was perfect in practically every way possible, Sunoo was just lucky and somehow managed to remain friends with him as they had been friends for years now. And here he was, having the privilege to dry the Park Sunghoon's beautiful, dark, ebony locks.
Sunoo was lost in his day dreams of the elder, smiling from ear to ear as he ran his hands through the latter's hair. However, his thoughts were rudely interrupted when he heard a gentle 'atishoo!'. His eyes widened as he realised the sneeze came from Sunghoon.
"Hyung are you okay?"
"'M fine, just a little headache. Do you by any chance have a blanket? It's really cold in here," Sunghoon mumbled quietly, feeling drowsy from being pampered by Sunoo.
"Yeah sure, one second, I'll bring a thermometer too. Oh my God what if you catch pneumonia because of me and you die? I'll be a murderer dear lord help me hyung I'm so so very sorry-"
Sunoo continued to ramble apologies to Sunghoon as he piled blankets on top of him, drowning the elder.
"Sunoo it's fine, I already told you. Also isn't this a little much? It's probably just a little cold, I'm not dying just yet."
"Huh? Oh right, sorry. I panicked for a second,"
"I can tell,"
Sunoo lost count of the times the raven haired boy had made him blush by now, embarrassment seen as clear as day. After saving Sunghoon from the mass of blankets, he placed a hand on the latter's forehead.
"Hyung your forehead's hot-"
"Thank you"
Sunoo could've died then and there. His heart was not strong enough for Sunghoon flirting(?) with him.
"T-that's not what I meant. I mean it's hot as in it's warm because you might have a cold or even a fever and you need to-"
"I know Sunoo. I'm only teasing you,"
Sunghoon's eyes creased into small crescents and he revealed a pair of pointy canines and a wide smile, finding utter joy in the younger's panicked stuttering.
"R-right, well you should probably get some rest, you look really tired and I'll go get some medicine for you,"
He turned to leave before he felt a gentle tug on his hand. The younger flinched slightly in surprise, once again blushing a bright pink. How many more times would this happen?
He looked back at Sunghoon inquisitively who was still holding onto his hand.
"Stay Sunoo. I'm okay for now, like you said I just need to rest. But stay with me. Please?"
Park Sunghoon asking Sunoo to stay with him? Who was he to disagree?
He muttered a simple "Fine" and lay down next to Sunghoon, who immediately latched himself onto the blushing younger.
"Sunoo-ah, when I said I like you, I meant it. And not in a friendly way. I only had a girlfriend because family ties and we aren't even dating anymore because she has a girlfriend and her family was fine with it. So don't even bring that up anymore. I like you Sunoo, I like you a lot."
With that, he fell asleep, leaving the younger to process his whispered confession.
"I like you too Hyung. I like you a lot. I'm so glad you sneezed today."
