(Based off of season 2 episode 10 most diallage is not mine but I changed some of it around)

It has been a few weeks since I spent the night at Keeley's and since Rebecca went on her date, she still has not yet told us who this dude is.  I have been at my rental house for the past few weeks unpacking some clothes and seeing if I can find anything to make this rental home a homier place.

While I was cleaning around the house like sweeping, I was listening to a playlist my friend made me the song at the moment was XOXO kisses hugs? I think that's the name of it, it keeps repeating that word. But it's very catchy so I kept listening to it on repeat, as I was cleaning my phone was going off from a group chat that Keeley invited me too, it involved Ted, Rebecca, Roy, and herself. It seemed too just be about Keeley talking about what she wants to do today so I simply ignored it and kept cleaning.

it has been around a few hours after I finished cleaning, I woke up early for this, so it was around 10 o'clock so I was just listening to music and relaxing on my couch. that was until Keeley called me out of the blue no text message or anything beforehand.

"Hello?" I sat up when I answered so, I could hear her better. "Okay so Rebecca just told me that her father has passed I am here with Roy, ted, beard, Nathan, and Higgins. Can you drive over here and help us comfort her?? you are the best at comforting people." well that was a lot to take in. "yeah I'll be there soon." I hung up and got dressed into something comfy and drove over to where Keeley was, I just now realized as I was almost to the place that this will be the first time, I will meet ted and the rest of the people. shit.

As I walked in since Keeley told me where she was, they were already talking about the situation. "So where do you think her father is right now?" Keeley looked up to Roy when she asked the question. "In the drawer of a funeral home." Roy didn't even think before he answered. Keeley gently elbowed his rib "No. I mean, like, spiritually." she moved her arms in the air slightly to make sure they understood. "In the drawer of a funeral home." Roy once again said this time thinking slightly about his responds even though it was the same as the last. "You know, growing up, I used to believe that if you did good things, you went to heaven. You did bad things; you went to hell." Ted said to break the slight silence. Keeley was right his accent is very different. "Nowadays, I know we all just do both. so, wherever he is, I hope he's happy." at least Ted sounds comforting. "I like to imagine a heaven where animals are in charge, and humans are the pets." I move away from whoever that is, I'm guessing Higgins. that comment was just oddly weird. "I'd like to spend eternity curled up in front of a fire at Cindy Clawford's feet." I didn't know what to say so I just nodded since that was once again an odd comment. "Yeah." I expected that from Ted. "I'd like to be reincarnated as a tiger...and then ravage anyone who looked at me wrong." Okay I'm starting to feel not comfy with these people but good for them? I moved closer to Roy and Keeley as they kept talking. "You know, if you weigh a person's body right after death it's 21.3 grams lighter, and some say that's the weight of the soul." I'm guessing who said that is coach beard...because of his beard? "Whoever figured that out clearly weighed someone, murdered them, then weighed them again." Okay this talk is getting very weird. "You live, you die, you're done. Goodnight." I mean that is one way to look at it Roy.. "he's on his period" multiple Yeahs went around the room. "Must be bad huh?" I finally spoke and looked to Keeley. She let out a small laugh.

I was getting ready with Keeley and Roy even though there was a lot of tension as we got ready. "Funerals are weird, aren't they?" Keeley broke the silence with a question while she put on her shoes. I nodded while Roy answered. "Yeah." .... "Yeah." I just rushed to put my shoes on before this gets any worse. "They're like a party, but for sad people." And it got worse. I missed my chance to leave. "Like where everyone knows they have to go and be sad." she picked up her shoe. "Maybe you're not sad, but you have to go and be sad." Where is this conversation leading too? "I think that's weird." she said as she put on her shoe. "Yeah, they're horrible." "Roy, if you die, do you want to be buried or cremated? like, if you were hit by a bus today, what do I do?" how can this get any worse... Roy turned around to face Keeley "go after the bus driver and make him pay for what he did to me. Avenge me, Keeley Avenge me!" it sounded like he tried to make her smile, but it didn't really work since her face was blank. "This funeral is really messing with your head, innit?" "I found this company, and they bury in a biodegradable sack. so, when your body decomposes it fertilized the seeds of a fruit tree. that's what I want. because then you and all the people that love me can eat the fruit from my tree." Oh yeah this is badly messing with her head. "That is fucking mental." "Coming from the guy that wants me to ruin a bus drivers' life? just 'cause he killed you swerving to avoid a child." that's my cue to leave! I get my bag and rush out of the room the last thing I hear is from Roy "I didn't know about the fucking child." I rushed to get in my car and wait for Keeley to show up. In the meantime, I played games on my phone and texted Rebecca a hug gif through messages, she put a heart on the message, and we left it there.

We finally made it there and see Rebecca staring at somebody? I walk over while Keeley was talking to Rebeccas mom. I tap her arm to not startle her, she turned around and looked at me. "Caitlin. You came" She pulled me into a hug which I was not expecting at all, but I hugged her back none the less since she most likely needed this. "of course, I came I wouldn't leave my newfound friend alone on a day like this." I mumbled into her shoulder since she was slightly taller than me, I reached up to her chin and since we are so close, I just rested my head on her shoulder. "Want to tell me who you were staring at?" I go to pull away from the hug, but Rebecca only held me tighter to keep me there, so I stayed there holding her. "My ex-husband...he brought his new baby here. The same baby he had with a woman twice as young as me.." I rubbed her back to comfort her since this day does not seem to be going her way. I looked over to the older man showing off his baby but before I could say anything someone beat me to it. "That baby sucks." Me and Rebecca pulled away from the hug to see Keeley and Roy. Rebecca smiled slightly before it faded. "You don't have to say that for me." Rebecca looked back to her ex "I'm not just saying it, I'm serious. That baby's whack. I hate it." Rebecca slightly laughed at Keeley's comment. Rebecca turned to Keeley "I love you." "I love you too. I'm here for you, whatever you need. Same with Cait." I smiled in responds. "I know." It looked like Rebeccas eyes started to water. " I won't leave your side." Well Keeley said that way too soon. "Jones!!" I turned to see who it was, but I have no idea who this woman is. "Sassy! Oh, my God!" Keeley ran off as I moved to stand beside Rebecca. Rebecca looked to Roy with a slight shocked face. "I'm used to it. Sorry for your loss." Roy stepped closer and kissed Rebecca on the cheek in a comforting way. As he walked away, I gently put my hand on Rebecca's arm to comfort her more and she smiled at me. I look over to Keeley and she is looks to be having a good conversation with this sassy? I'm so confused. I left my hand on Rebecca's arm in a comforting way as people walked past saying that they are sorry for her loss.

After a few minutes Me, Rebecca, and Keeley where all in this seating area room as they both laughed about something. "What? I mean it. when I was a kid, the only thing I liked about church was confession. It was so freeing!" Rebecca laughed as Keeley spoke. "I'd just sit there and admit all the sickest shit inside of my brain." They both laughed as I just sat on the floor listening in smiling. "Oh, my God. One time, I made the priest blush and barf at the same time!" Rebecca laughed more at the comment I laughed as well "I made you both laugh yes!" someone else walked in that sassy person. "I have been told to come in to ask you to lower your voices." I peeked my head over the chair since I was sitting behind Rebecca. This sassy person looked to me for a second before talking again. "But I also brought this." She held up booze "Oh, good work." "Oh, nice!" Sassy walked closer to everyone, and I got up "stole it from a little boy in a white robe." She laughed "No, sass!" All of them laughed before sass talked again. "So, Stinky." Stinky? "Hm?" Oh Rebecca- "who are you secretly shagging?" what the fuck is shagging- "what?" "Oh, let's skip the part where you pretend, you're not, yeah?" Keeley gently hit Rebecca in the stomach when she said that. Sass handed her the booze. "What are you even talking about?" She took a sip of the booze and handed it to me, but I declined. "Oh, how about the bullshit text after the date that Cait showed me! The fact I have not seen you outside of work for two weeks." Rebecca took a bigger sip of the Booze. "And that even though today is your father's funeral, you are glowing like a girl that just got properly plowed!" Sass laughed "God!" Rebecca looked to me before looking at everyone else. "Shit." They both gasped and screamed out loud as I laughed. "I knew it!" "Oh, my God!" "I knew it!" "You're right!" Then Rebecca's mom ran in "I have been asked to come in and tell you to lower your voices." And a younger women came in maybe thirteen. "The vicar looked like he wanted to swear. Is everything alright?" The younger one asked. "Yeah, of course." Keeley's voice cracked since she drank a little before answering. "We're just trying to figure out who Rebecca is shagging." Rebecca sighed and I laughed, Rebecca gave me a playful death stare. "Oh, I know." Keeley looked over so quickly "And it's good." Keeley let out a yell "mother!" the scream died down for a second "come on-- hang on. hang on. okay let's play 20 questions." Keeley took another sip before answering so her voice sounded cracked. "Yes! Yes." The younger girl did a little dance towards Sass "Oh, my-- this is thrilling!!" Sass thought of a question "um is he tall?" Rebecca shook her head slightly smiling "yes." It was silent before Keeley said something "Is it Sam?" Rebecca looked down to Keeley "How the fuck did you know that?" They all let out another scream. this is going to be a long thing.

I started to get overwhelmed so I leaned over to Rebecca to say I might leave a little early and I hope she didn't mind. She said she didn't and gave me a big hug before I left.

When I got home, I laid down in my bed. All I could think about was how beautiful Rebecca was, I can't be catching feelings for her though she just told us that she is dating someone. Plus, she possibly doesn't even like women in that way. I'm falling for a woman I can't love...
