This is following the storyline in that the upside down does exist however he hasn't died So this is a few years before s4 maybe? Idk. Idk. But Billy isn't dead so yur just keep that in mind. Also, y/n is an entity, she's involved with the upside down and Billy being obsessed with her is the same as him being under the mind flayers control. So him acting weird and stand off-ish is the same as how he was in s3 so keep that in mind if u think he's acting funny!!
