[POV: June]

June: "Why are we here?"

I questioned, looking over to the brunette one, who just had an expression with complete confusion in it. My face felt completely swollen over the amount of tears I had let out, and my body was still shaking repeatedly. I took my brother's hand, holding it tightly until he eventually turned to look at me.

John B: "We need answers, they're here." -he trembled, brushing a hair that was covering my face, placing it behind my ear.

June: "John B, I remembered something...something I had completely forgotten. I think they're actually the answers you're looking for."

John B: "Tell me inside. Mrs. Grubbs, needs to tell us everything."

We both looked over to the familiar home, making me remember the last and only time I had visited the house. John B, began to pull me inside of the cold water in between the home. Eventually reaching a lot of tall grass, thankfully we were near the house already.

As we walked towards the wooden platform, I could feel how John B's hand was also shaking as well. This one was way worse than mine, making me stop the boy's tracks.

June: "John B, you're shaking a lot. Let's try to calm down first, please."

John B: "I'm fine, June. Let's go...before it's too late." -he replied, making me sigh as I watched him walk faster towards the home.

I eventually reached towards his way, seeing how he had stopped beside the archway of the home. Silently contemplating his surroundings with pure shock consuming him, I only peeked inside the home seeing Mrs. Grubbs, already looking towards our way.

John B: "I need to know."

The boy mumbled behind me, and later on he entered the home in complete silence. Seeing every single move the woman, had began to do.

Mrs. Grubbs: "I'll get you both some clothes."

A little bit later, John B and I had taken a sit on the dining area. Waiting for the woman, to tell us something. She had served us both tea and gave new clothes as she mentioned, which we gratefully took over how cold we felt.

June: "Mrs. Grubbs...is it true?" -I asked, breaking the silence that surrounded the small home.

She stayed completely still over my question, focusing her gaze towards a window on top of a sink inside the kitchen. It only took her a couple of seconds to answer, eventually once again breaking the silence.
