Akagi stares at the carrier pointing a gun at her, unsure how to measure what he has said. Kaga readies her rigging and prepares to fight with this carrier, named Midway. 

The carrier only smiles and says "You probably should tell her to stand down. If you aren't aware, I outgun both of you. My complement of aircraft are 125. A notable size up compared to your's." 

Akagi ponders and realizes that his ship outnumbers both carriers.... but maybe not a third.

Midway hears the hear swoosh behind him and he dodges quickly as Zuikaku swinged at him. In response, Midway pulled out a second pistol and aimed it at Zuikaku. Midway looked rapidly both ways, he was in between 3 carriers. 

"I won't let you harm my seniors." Zuikaku said. Midway only scoffed and continued aiming. "Such dedication.... but you weren't there for them... were you?" Midway replied.

Zuikaku looks a bit unnerved as Midway continued talking. "Carriers Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu. All that was left was you and Shokaku." 

Midway's words were starting to make Zuikaku angry. "You couldn't even protect your sister." Midway said. Those final words caused Zuikaku to rush forward and swing her sword towards Midway. Midway grinned and sidestepped the strike, and then pistol whipped her as she passed by.

"You failed the first rule of engaging in a fight. Do not listen to the enemy's insults. Do not play into their attempts to get you to act rash." Midway said. Zuikaku only shouted back "SHUT UP!"

Midway laughed as he now pointed both pistols towards the Sakura carriers. "Well, it's fun and all, but I have important things to do. I'll let you go this time." Midway said as he holstered his pistols, only for Kaga to immediately run up to him and did a high leg kick.

Midway landed in the water and looked up. "That hurts you know." Kaga only looked down at Midway and said "That's what you deserve." 

Midway chuckles and says "Maybe, word of advice, if you're doing high kicks. Don't wear a skirt." Kaga took a few moments to process what he meant, and then immediately started blushing. Kaga then shouted "I'LL KILL YOU!"

Midway only laughed and said "You can try!" This further angered Kaga, only for Akagi to come alongside and said "Enough Kaga nee-san, we have what we need." 

Kaga calmed down only a little, and looked at Midway with a look of disgust. Kaga walked back, but Akagi looked down at Midway. Midway continued smiling and said "Be careful how you play your cards, Akagi. Otherwise, you'll find out why I am named after Midway."

Akagi only continued staring, before scoffing and walking back. All 3 carriers departing, after which, Midway holstered both pistols and then put his arms behind his head. "Well, choose to reveal myself, I wonder how history will play out."

"What do you mean, Siren?" someone behind Midway said. As he turned around, his yellow eyes met violet eyes. Of course, the eyes got his attention, but the giant bow pointed at his head got way more of his attention.

Midway looked at the girl with a smirk and said "That's none of your concern at the moment." Enterprise only squinted and kept her bow locked on the strange person. "You will surrender and answer some questions." Enterprise said to the strange ship.

Midway smirked as a F4U Corsair made a pass near Enterprise and distracted her. As she turned back around, she saw a jet skimming the water and approaching. Midway raised his hand up and grabbed the wing of the jet. The jet plucked him out of the water and started flying away.
