burning up

Chapter 10:

Arius is making eggs when a masked man in a hood walked in. "So Arius man turned god slayer, but you never really were a god slayer were you, that was lance actually on your whole team you were the most pathetic, The worst you gave up being a god so your daughter could be a god, YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT IT AND WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING" the man said. "Well I guess you don't wanna have breakfast then" Arius said as the masked man grabbed him by the throat and threw him at the stairs behind the masked man. The masked man rushed started swinging his fists like a maniac at speeds upwards of light-speed. Arius was trying to block with his material creation but wasn't fast enough.  Arius was sitting there with blood covering his face and body as he barely held onto consciousness. He then said, "IS THAT ALL YOU GOT PUSSY" The man grabbed him by his throat as his body was limp and threw him through a window and fell off the cliff their farm sat 500 yards from. He fell as the lightning dragon spoke and said, "quit being a bitch and spread your wings." He spread his wings and glided down as he laid on the ground. He crawled to a cave where he got up and bandaged himself up with lightning bandages he created. As he left the cave tearing his shirt off as he climbed up trees to get back to his house to his wife and kids. When he got there, he ran through the house at light speeds and found out they went to the grocery store and ran there. He saw them before he ran off and went back to the cave. He began to train with light-speed. 

He went back to the house as he started researching what has been happening recently. Rose kept asking what happened and he kept saying nothing when he found out about a military plane hijacking that happened. He formed a sword in his hand as his chest burned and his entire body began to glow as Amulet was standing by and said "where do you think you're going dad." He got up and walked past her as he sprinted out the door and she followed him. As Arius spread his wings and grabbed Amulet's hand as they flew up. He stabbed his blade into the back of the plane and Amulet warped them in. There were 20 men with masks and red hair that formed blades like Arius. Amulet warped past them, as. Arius started to battle them with his light-speed and  material creation. After he killed them all the masked man walked out dragging Amulet's limp body by her hair. As he threw her, and Arius ran at him as he shot lightning at his mask  and destroyed it as he was blasted back while swinging his sword. He landed on his back as he saw Amulet and remembered when he sealed the cosmic fox inside of her. The man stood there "wow you had the power of a god and now you lose to a man who never had a mythical beast." He blasted everyone out the back and blitzed out behind them. Arius was falling as he formed a ball around his daughter to protect her. As he did that his curse ran its course and he remembered when he was told his powers would be his doom. As he started to burn up and his body caught fire and he hit the ground completely intact. As the fire went out the story of Arius was over He was dead. His daughter landed safely in the ballad it disappeared she fell down next to her father and the man dropped down and she saw his face. "You must be surprised, and you're right I am him I am your father a different version, but I am him" he said as he made a blade and went to stab her when a bunch of citizens started to rush him with their weapons. They were in paradise city as Arius said "I'm still alive jackass" as electricity started coming out of his body and Amulet warped away as his body turned into an explosion and leveled a radius of 400 miles.

Amulet was at their home on her knees while she cried and as she walked around her family was gone. She held a funeral for her father which she told no one about, the doctors had told her his fire powers came with a price and it set off a chain reaction in his body which led to the explosion. She was angry he wasn't supposed to be a hero anymore. She was at home when she found a note that read "I have everyone you love who is still alive come to this warehouse 426 coastal road." She immediately warped there, and she saw her family without the other version of her father, she immediately went to untie them as the man created a sphere to drop on them as she used her cosmic power to hold it up as she created a blade and she dashed backwards and clashed blades with him. They dashed back and went forward again Arius being stronger flew her through a wall. "You will never have my might give up and your family lives" he said as he walked over to amulet. As he walked by her family the boulder hovered over his head as Amulet went to drop it on him. as it disappeared. he looked at her and shook his head as he dashed to cut her head off she had fired a blast of cosmic energy that hit him like it was nothing. she just fell backwards and was about to let him kill her when his heart exploded from the blast. She let her family go and they lived out their lives without Arius.

Arius' grave read "Arius Sato THE LEGEND WRITTEN IN FIRE"
