Amunet groaned as Try Again by Aaliyah played on her phone. She set that song as her ringtone that way she wouldn't wake up annoyed but unfortunately it was starting to get to her. She turned the alarm off and got out of bed, her routine started. She prayed, fixed her blankets and placed her uniform on the bed, she smiled as stared at her uniform with pride. She went to take a shower.

Thirty minutes later...
'Good morning ladies' she said as she sat down with her co-workers for breakfast, 'Amunet, you awfully chipper today, where are you going?' One of her co-workers asked, 'We are going to the Ivory Coast' Lebohang answered before she could, Lebo sat down and greeted everyone.

'It's called Côte D'Ivoire Lebo' Amunet argued , Lebo just rolled her eyes, 'Potato Pothatho' she giggled, 'So you going back to Africa, I thought you hated it there?' Priscilla one of her co-workers asked Lebo jumped in, 'Her family is in Africa, plus she can't hate her home.'

'You guys have to stop talking about Africa as though it is a country, it is a whole continent!' everyone turned to see their Captain standing there, 'Good morning to you too David, Did your wife finally decide to drop you? Is that why you are yelling?'- 'Guys I'm right here' Lebo said, she walked up and kissed David.

'He is just mad that he won't be the one flying to Africa today, we are stuck with...'-'Ladies it's time to go, sitting here won't get us to Africa faster' their Captain stood there with a smile on his face.

'Don't worry David I'll take great care of your wife' he winked at Lebo, who was disgusted by Captain Harrison. David stood there looking at his phone and got a notification on his phone, 'Oh you didn't hear, I'm your Co-pilot today', Captain Harrison's face dropped, one could see the wrinkles on his pale skin as his expression dropped and he looked annoyed.

'You young people changing everything, back in my day the wife stayed home while the husband went out to work. Not this thing of working in the same place without consequence.' he stormed off and Lebo hugged her husband. 'So that's why you were agitated, you were waiting on the confirmation?', Amunet inquired.

'Mr Mohapi, when did you ask to switch with Stephen?', David looked at his wife as she waited for a response, 'A magician never reveals his secrets', he locked arms with his wife and started walking away. Amunet didn't follow, she just stood there and started a countdown, 'Amunet!', Lebo ran back for her friend and they locked arms...

David waited as they caught up with him, 'Firstly you are a pilot not a magician and I guess being friends with the boss's son has it's perks', Amunet threw a wink at Dave and he smiled. 'I knew I should have kept you away, you a bad influence on my wi... you know what scratch that, lying is a sin, and I'm about to fly a plane...you see where I'm going with this...' the ladies laughed.

It was time for take-off, usually David would pray on the speaker but today he's the co-pilot, and Captain Harrison does not believe in anything. So he introduced the staff, and made announcements regarding the flight. Lebo was working in the business class while Amunet worked coach (which she loved). The flight was 21 hours so they had more flight attendants and an additional pilot. There were actually 10 flight attendants and three pilots, each flight attendant took care of 50 seats, then one took care of the pilots.

'Mom is it too early to eat again?', a boy asked his mom. 'Actually I heard if someone eats during take-off, their organs will be turned around and the food won't stay in if you know what I mean' the little boy held his stomach and told his mom he'll wait. The woman looked at the man and thanked him quietly. Amunet watched the scene unfold and she couldn't stop herself from smiling.
