4. Finally!

Narrator...

'Where did Ryan and Sam go?' Mila asked looking around for the two siblings, 'Oh Ryan ran, I'm pretty sure he's at the cafeteria and Sam went to do her head girl duties, apparently the girls bathroom ran out of tampons' Thabiso answered, 'Okay boyfriend of the year, you know way too much and it's wrong' Akila commented with a shudder. The group showed Dimpho around the school...

'Hey Kiki! Hope you are good, where is Ryan?' Akila looked up and squints her eyes trying to see who called her and to her surprise it was Rebecca...
'Hey Beccs, Ryan went to go get food for the squad, you can join if you want?' everyone turned to look at Akila but said nothing.

'No it's okay Kiki, I'll talk to him during P.E', having said that Rebecca leaves. 'Did you Keabetswe Akila Mohapi just invite a person who isn't in the friend group out for lunch?'-'Woah now Mr Thabiso Joshua Mbatha, see I know all your names too and I'm tryna be nice that might be my best friends girl', the group laughs at the two bickering.

'I'm your best friend. Ryan can be the second Best friend, I am The Best Friend, understood?' Akila laughs, she notices how serious Thabiso looked and cleared her throat raised her hand and stood at attention, 'Sir yes sir!'. The friends walked to the cafeteria and there was no sign of Ryan, 'Okay just to be clear Ryan and Sam are buying us lunch right?' Themba asked excited and the group nodded in agreement except Dimpho, Fred explained the rule they made last year that stated that, "whoever is ten to fifteen minutes late for lunch buys lunch for the whole group."

Three hours later...
'Okay, so where do y'all wanna go and Josh don't say McDonald's..' Thabiso pouted, Samantha kissed him and just like the love sick puppy he is he smiled, 'Ryan, there's no way you still can't say Thabiso it's easy' Themba inquired, 'Look, my white tongue refuses so...'

The group laughs at Ryan's comment and starts walking to Food Lovers Market which was 10 minutes away from their school.

Ryan paid for three boxes of donuts which had 8 donuts each box, while Samantha bought everyone a smoothie. While Jamila and Samantha got to know Dimpho, Akila and Themba were arguing. They argued so much, people would think they were a married couple. Infact there were rumours at school that the reason they argued so much was because they had an undying passion for each other (Let's just say Akila shut them down quick with Ryan's help of course).

'So Valentine's Day is coming up soon, what is the plan?' Dimpho asked Samantha seeing as though she was the only girl in a relationship and right on que Thabiso jumped in, 'No, we are not talking about it, remember what happened last year?'-'Hey I already apologized for that, it isn't my fault that I'm a hopeless romantic.' Ryan quickly defended himself. Out of curiosity Dimpho asked what happened last year..

'Well he may have overboard with the planning and hired a band to you know "set the mood" but instead it ruined the mood'-'Oh don't forget the waiter that wouldn't leave our side no matter what' Ryan bangs his head on the table, 'All we want this year is to be alone, which means no more waiters, bands and candles all over the house.' Thabiso concluded. As much as Akila enjoyed seeing her friend squirm she quickly changed the subject knowing she wouldn't hear the end of it from Ryan if she didn't.

Jamila's POV...
It was fun watching Dimpho interact with everyone else, she fit right in (I could see why Ryan had a crush on her). We all went to the Williams residence to write our homework but only after Akila and Ryan devoured the donuts donuts. Fred chose to walk with Dimpho and I was stuck with Themba, 'Do you think that I'll ever get what Thabiso has?' the question caught me off guard, 'Why would want what your twin has, aren't you tired of sharing?' He scoffs at my question.
