Chapter 40

Trinity,

"You are pregnant bey, but we have to be very careful with these pregnancy. You know what that means?" I asked as I sat the clipboard down.

"No please tell me I'll be able to have the baby." She said looking at me and then Dr.Monroe

"You will, if you take the necessary vitamins needed, eat the proper food, I'd prefer all your meals be homemade so that you won't have to worry about any unnecessary contaminations." Dr.Monroe said

"This pregnancy is very risky, so you'll have to come up here 3 days a week so we catch each and every problem before they get bad." I said, she let out a deep sigh closing her eyes. "Hey." I placed my hand over hers. "Everything will be ok, nothing will go wrong if you just follow directions."

"So will she be able to eat greasy foods?" Chris asked

"Little to none, I strongly suggest she doesn't." Dr.Monroe said

"Beyoncé this means it ain't the time to be hardhead." Chris said, I smiled shaking my head.

"I know, I know." She mumbled

"Bey everything will be fine, you will be fine. Dr.Grace and I will type up a list of foods, and drinks you should have so that the baby receives the nutrients needed, one thing that will be a problem is that the baby'll take so much of the nutrients from you, you won't have a lot of energy."

"I got a sprite." Eric said coming into the room, holding it out for bey.

"She can't have that." I said taking it out his hand.

"Jamie long time no see." Dr.Monroe said

"Yea, hi Tiffany." He spoke awkwardly scratching the back of his head.

"Ok back to me, I can't have sprite?" Bey asked, I shook my head.

"Baby I'm gonna die." She whined laying her head on Chris' shoulder.

"Stop whining or else." He replied

"I'll take the or else for 200 Alex." She said making both me and Dr.Monroe or shall o say Tiffany laugh. Tiffany and I go way back she was there for me when Byron crazy ass and I were together, we were roommates in college, we graduated college together, entered med-school together, graduated med-school together, and got hired here at this hospital together.

We kinda grew apart every since the trip to New Zealand, but friends come and go I ain't really trippin' off of that, I changed over the course of the past few months and I still ain't completely back to the sane Trinity yet, so if she's trying to do anything with Eric what so ever, I promise I'll fuck her world up.

"You heard me babe?" Eric said waving his hand in my face, I looked at him.

"What you say?" I asked, he raised his eyebrow and grabbed my arm pulling me outside the room.

"Who you planning to kill?" He asked

"Huh?"

"You got that same wild look in your eyes you had back in North Carolina, I mean it's sexy as hell don't get me wrong, but what's wrong ?"

"Nothing, I'm fine." I smiled kissing his cheek about to walk off, he grabbed my arm pulling me back.

"When are we gonna tell everybody that you're pregnant?"

"I want it to be a surprise."

"Alright so how you gone deliver bey's baby if you're gonna be 9 months and ready to pop just like she is?"

"I ain't gone wait that long to tell everybody." I said nudging him away from me.

"Lemme be close to you if I want." He said

"How about you be close to Tiffany and tell me how that goes." I said with a fake smile before walking back into the room.

"Trinity I wasn't done with you." He said following me back into the room.

"I was done with you tho."

Chris,

"It's gone be a girl." I mumbled in bey's ear, we were sitting on the rock in our secret place. She was sitting between my legs with her back against my chest with her head rested back on my shoulder.

"As long as my baby comes out healthy I don't care what the sex is." She mumbled, she sounded hurt. I had no bad feeling what so ever about this pregnancy, but I'll still pray on the matter.

I just had this great feeling, and I knew there was nothing to worry about. I knew that Bey and the baby would be perfectly fine. I knew bey was worried, but all I have to do is reassure her that God has us and everything happens for a reason.
