Chapter 8: First Kiss

Calum: Good morning Blairre! What are you doing?

Blairre: Morning sleepy head, glad you're finally awake! I'm making icing for some game.

Calum: I'm out with what you're up to. I don't like icing so keep it off. Have you seen the boys?

Blairre: C'mon Calum!!! You know it wouldn't be fun without you.

Calum: Still a big no. Have you seen the boys?

Blairre: Ashton and Michael are at the basement playing their instruments. I don't know where Luke went; he just said I'll be out. You should eat your breakfast it's already late.

Calum: Yeah thanks. Still I won't change my mind, keep that icing off me.

Blairre gives him a smirk and continue doing her work. After Calum was done with his breakfast Blairre hits Calum's shirt with icing. He was annoyed, ending up with chasing Blairre for revenge. She didn't notice she was heading at the pool, she runs through it, drowning herself forgetting only Luke among the boys knew she don't know how to swim.

Calum: You can't fool me this time Blairre. Your trick ain't piercing my head.

Calum went in to get towels and invite the boys for swimming. Blairre panics as she can't pull herself out the water thinking she's all alone, struggling shouting for help battling with the water. Luckily Luke arrives two minutes later; he automatically jumps to the water with shoes and clothes on, saving the unconscious Blairre. When they settle at the surface, he gives her a CPR, first attempt nothing happens then on the second, she spits out the water on Luke's face. Concern overcomes irritation; Luke hugs her trembling in terror body, Blairre hugs him real tight like it's the end of the world. She whispers in his ear, eyes close, voice full of sorrow.

Blairre: Thank you! Thank you.. Lee!

Luke: Sshhh.. Let's go inside, you need to rest.

Luke lifted Blairre in both arms, she's still hugging him. They went in bumping with the boys in a swimming wear suit.

Ashton, Calum, Michael: What happen? You two are all wet.

Calum: Blairre are you ok? Don't tell me it was real. Blairre I am so sorry, I had no idea.

Blairre: I'm fine Cal Pal, no need to worry. Death is far from my veins.

Ashton: What is happening?

Michael: I think Blairre got to rest first. We'll talk about it later. Will you be fine?

Luke: Sounds great.

Blairre nods her head assuring the boys there's no need to be unease. Luke takes her to her room; he goes out, close the door. Outside the door, he saw Ashton, Calum, and Michael waiting. A few minutes, they hear Blairre sobbing in tears. Michael attempted to open the door, Ashton stops him.

Ashton: It might be better if we give her some space. We have to dig in. I think it's deeper than we contemplate; she needs time to think. Don't worry guys she's strong. All we need to do is wait and hold on her words. In every rain comes a rainbow.

Calum: This is my entire fault.

Luke: Don't blame yourself Cal. I think Ashton is right, like its link to her past. I was sure he called me Lee back at the pool. Her voice was filled with pain.

Michael: We should do something.

The following day Blairre didn't go out in her room, the boys were worried as hell. They persist on working hard with operation ketchup to lighten her up. Anyways, ketchup is a talking bunny human-size stuff toy win by Blairre in an eating contest which was given as a present to the boys. It is designed to foretell one thousand jokes, the holder can auto change the size from its original human size to a normal gnome size, plus it can sing hundreds of songs, and you can record your voice for a maximum of 5 minutes. The stuff toy's name is an accident: she showed the present while the boys were eating breakfast, Luke accidentally spill some ketchup on the stuff toy. She shouted ketchup and the boys thought its name is ketchup but the story didn't stop there, they quarrel as to its name and finally ended to ketchup again.

Operation ketchup is leaded by ketchup himself assisted by Ashton, Calum, Luke, and Michael. Ketchup for this operation is composed of four brains. Calum and Luke are busy furnishing things at the venue while Ashton and Michael will escort Blairre together with ketchup; Michael will physically aid ketchup as they go along, while Ash will be driving. Operation starts at 5:00pm, unfortunately the plan is not going well. Blairre's room is locked, slight change of plan; Ashton looks for the key for a couple of minutes, as they open the door, the maiden is sleeping. Michael lifts Blairre in both arms heading to the car. He gently places the blindfold in her eyes in case she wakes up, turn on ketchup in its funny mode, Ashton turns the car's engine and off they go.
