- Baileys POV -
As me, my younger brother Brandon and my mum were walking through town we came to my favourite place. It was a little shop in the centre of Milton Keynes which sold instruments: guitars, violins, pianos.. Everything you could think of. I've had my eye on this one guitar for months now. It was made from solid rosewood, it was everything I had ever wanted.. But I knew mum didn't have the money to afford it. Don't get me wrong we're not poor, but we're not loaded either!

Mum took us inside, her face beaming with happiness, I had no clue why.
"Pick your favourite!" She said, smiling at me. I was shocked, this was like a dream come true to me, since studying music at school I've been in love with guitars. My music teacher told me I had a special talent that would get me somewhere someday, but o very much doubted that. I picked my favourite, the solid rosewood one, and mum actually bought it for me. I was ecstatic.

The moment we got back home I ran to my room, shut the door to keep my youngest brother Brodie out, and sat on my Brandon's bed. Brandon and I share a room with bunk beds, mines the top, his is the bottom, the best thing about being the oldest is you can call shotgun before the other one even exists! So sitting on his bed I started plucking the strings. I had little experience, just what I had been taught in lessons.

I got my phone out and looked for tutorials on YouTube and decided to cover one of my favourite songs at the moment, 'Wolves' by Ben Howard. Quickly, I got the hang of the way playing worked, which strings made which noise, the basics really. I spent hours playing the guitar until Brandon came up wanting to go to sleep.

I knew that I had found a new passion, something I feel so strongly about, playing the guitar took me to a completely different place.
