The following Sunday was his funeral. Everybody showed up to show their support which made me a little less alone. Kai hugged me throughout the entire funeral and never let go of me for even a second. Irie and Hyun-bin brought flowers and decorated his casket which made me smile. When his casket was being lowered into the ground, I couldn't watch and turned away into Kai's arms.

He noticed and took me away from the site and into his car where held me as I cried continuously.

It was night and I fell asleep in his kai's arms. He must have carried me to bed as I woke up there. I looked around but he wasn't there. He must have gone home I thought but I was wrong he walked into my room with a bowl of water and towel in hand. "Hey. How are you feeling now? You had a fever last night.", he said and helped me sit up on the bed. "You spent the night?", I asked. "Yeah. I couldn't have left you. You were burning up.", he replied. "Thanks.",I said in a low voice. "It's nothing.", he said as he dunked the towel in the water and placed it on my forehead.

"You don't have to go to school today. I told Irie to tell your home room teacher that you weren't coming. You just focus on resting, okay?", he said as he was leaving. "Kai?", I called out. "Yes?", he responded and turned around. "Thank you.", I said. He smiled and left.

The following week I returned to school and everyone was so nice to me. They helped me adapt to school life again by helping me catch up with work and they truly made me never feel like I was alone to which I was grateful for but my depression was still there. It wasn't allowing me to feel anything at times and my mentality was getting worse. Everyday I would come home and the house wouldn't feel the same like it used to.

Even when my dad left it didn't feel like he did but now it really felt like the house was empty. My sister and mom were trying to get over it but we couldn't. Kai would come over at times and keep me company but nothing helped. I still felt alone.

Irie Pov

A few Months had passed and Misami was nowhere to be found. She didn't come to school and her mom said she had gone out one night and never returned. We all had gotten really worried. The police were looking for her but they had no clue on where she could have gone.

Kai and Hyun-bin had hired a private investigator to see if he could find any trace on where she could have gone. By now we were preparing for the worst. There was still hope that she was alive and safe somewhere but whether dead or alive we wanted to find her.

After months of searching they finally found her. She was found washed up on the shore of the river. We all held our heads in despair as we sobbed. Kai blamed himself for not taking better care of her. On the day of her funeral, he placed the necklace he had bought for her birthday which was two months ago that he was working so hard on the weekends to get her as her birthday present in her casket before it was closed. After that day, Kai was never heard from again and he transferred to a different school soon after that.

The rest of us finished highschool and after graduation Hyun-bin and I went our separate ways as he wanted to go to London to study and the long distance relationship would be complicated. We still keep in contact with each other every now and then and I kept him updated on everybody 's life however for some reason things weren't the same after Misami's death.

Who knows, maybe this story isn't finished yet. Only the future can tell that so I guess we will have to wait and see.
