I didn't talk much in middle school so people thought my name was Lilly but by the time I got to high school most people knew my name was Lucy. Occasionally there were people that still called me Lilly but it didn't bother me as much.
I think it was confusing because our names sound similar and because there was a Lilly that is right next to me in the yearbook but I also didn't try very hard to correct them.
