a month later
"I would like you to help in the kitchen for a while," I said talking to a worker in my restaurant
I was working on my new restaurant and I've been so busy with everything but at least I have support from my friends and family.
LNT: Destiny Williams is having her restaurantgrand opening and she will be having a lot ofcelebrities showing up.
"Mummy, is daddy gonna be there"Bryson asked using his iPad.
"Hopefully," I said trying to put on my shoes.
"tell mamaw that she needs to help you with your hair," I told him and he ran outta my room.
I was touching up my makeup when I got a call, I checked and saw Isaiah's name pop up, I was hesitant to pick it up at first.
"hey"
"why are you showing me the ceiling," he said and I rolled my eyes
"cause I'm tryna get ready," I said
"don't matter, I wanna see you"
"stop whining and you can't see me," I said and heard Bryson stomping his foot up the stairs
"Ohh, I get you preparing me for our big day"
"you play too much"
"Mummy, mamaw said you need to hurry," Bryson said walking to me
"aii, I'm coming, quit shouting"
"Imma see you later right?" I asked isaiah
"yeah obviously," he said I rolled my eyes and cut the call

"I want to thank God, my family and my friends for making me feel positive and helping me build this restaurant, the past few months have been hectic and I lost hope in many things but luckily I'm here today to celebrate today and especially with the person that has always been with me, my son and he has always been my number one priority and will always be and I'm happy he will always know that no matter how hard thing get I will always be there for him. I'm really thankful for all the things that have happened and I will always be thankful that I met the one person that I had partially lost hope in, I want to say that person made me a better person and never gave up on me even when I lost hope, Isaiah has always made me feel appreciated and loved in many ways but today is just different, to be honest, and I want to thank him for that and I also want to thank everyone for the love and support you have all given me."
I finished my speech and everyone clapped and I smiled, I knew people were surprised at what I said toward the end of my speech but that's how life goes really.
"that was amazing," my mum said walking up to me holding Bryson
"Really?" I said and laughed
"You did you well, I'm proud of you," she said and hugged me
