Turns out, you are kind of fucked.

Now, it may sound like you're exaggerating, but you're really not, in fact, you're sure you're 100%, absolutely, definitely fucked in ways that you definitely shouldn't ever be.

Let's recap.

First, you're in a foreign country away from the place you rented and in the middle of Merlin knows where.

Second, you're not even in your own time.

And third, you're not sure if you're even in the same damn universe.

'Bloody hell' you couldn't help but think 'How did this even happen? I didn't have any magical artifacts on me, I didn't see anyone or even sense them near me, so how the fuck did this happen?'

Grumbling, you jerked a little bit when you felt a hand tentatively brush your shoulder.

"Oh!" Relaxing at the voice you heard, you turned around and faced the offender in question "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you!"

You gave Tanjiro a hesitant smile "It's..Okay, I've always been jumpy," you paused, giving the burgundy/auburn haired boy a once over "What are you doing up? Mr.Urokodaki..err, Urokodaki-san? said you have training in the morning?"

Tanjiro smiled sheepishly "That's true, but I really wanted to talk to you, it's been a while since I've talked to anyone even a little bit close to my age," he said, before continuing "and you also seemed...kind of sad? I didn't want you to be alone if you feel bad."

You purse your lips, averting your eyes pointedly as you contemplate what to say, Tanjiro is...being really nice, which is great because he genuinely doesn't know who you are and still treats you kindly even without the whole celebrity status, but you can't help being apprehensive, new people are...

...usually not great news.

But you have to be optimistic, there's quite literally no danger sense going off around this guy, it's like he's the sun that will mildly bother you on a really bad day and make you bask in its rays when it's a good day.
