It's been two weeks.
And unsurprisingly, you've made no real progress to get home.
Staying here with Mr.Urokodaki and Tanjiro was...nice, and surprisingly not as stressful as you might've thought, especially for a house of a former demon slayer.
In this time, you've come to realize, with some terror, that you've grown attached to the old man and his discipline, they've just been so nice and kind to you that it's hard NOT to like them.
At the same time, the lack of progress while trying to find out how you're here or how to get home has made you somewhat anxious, something both of the men noticed, especially when you tended to go out of the house and apparete[1] around the area of Japan for a few hours before coming back with the excuse of "going on a walk".
The old man didn't ask you, but you could tell he was suspicious (not that you blame him), but Tanjiro was the real issue.
He had no problem prodding at you the first time you vanished, most likely worried as he asked you where you went, never having the chance to follow you because you always vanished right as he went to descend the mountain, being back by the time he finished his training.
The redhead wasn't nosy, he backed down when he saw you didn't want to talk about it, and you felt kind of bad about worrying him so bad, but...
You really do need to find a way to get back home, for your friends, and your godson.[2]
However, it's not going well, there are no signs of any other magical occurrences other than you and those... demons.
Which means no other wixen[3], and definitely no ministry of magic.
It's safe to say you didn't react well to that after two weeks of searching, a less than small scorch mark being left in the woods near a small settlement you've been searching by.
That's not to say you're giving up your search to go home, but there's no point looking for something that doesn't exist.
And well, if the closest thing to magic here is those demonic things...
