' Scarlett Whispers '

The night shines down on the country plains, the clouds dancing in the sky
I place my hat back on as I walk the trail
Many tales had this trail told
A couple walking hand and hand until they broke apart
I place the cigar in my mouth once more as the wind brushed through me.
Scarlett was her hair and her eyes too
The unforgettable memories of days passing by
Everytime I walk this trail I hear her
Those little whispers against my ears
I wish I could turn back time to the good ol' days but now she's long gone with only her whispers now to keep me awake.
