A Single Good Father Chapter 3

Jonathan's POV

I was on my way to meet Jill so we can discuss if she can be able to watch my kids. It was ten in the morning and I had to meet her at Starbucks. Layana was already at school so it was just me and my baby boy.

I watched some television until about ten thirty then I decided to make my way to Starbucks.

Taking Jaylon out the car I walked into the shop. As soon as I walked in I spotted Jill, the way her chocolate skin was glowing amazed me. I couldn't pretend that she wasn't attractive because she was.

"Hi how are you doing today , I said once I reached the table?"

"I'm doing great and your self?"

"Living so I can't complain."

"And what about you, she said towards Jaylon?"

He just smiled and showed his four teeth. Jaylon is only one in a half his mom died a week after he came in the world.

Okay so let's get down to business.....

A Hour later, I was asking her all kind of questions but just to make sure she's really who she says she is. She'll be watching the kids while I'm doing office work at home starting next week.

As we went are separate ways I couldn't help but look at the curves she had.

Putting Jaylon in the car I headed home to catch up on some work.

Next week, Tuesday at eight o'clock!

I had herd my doorbell ring and I already new it was Jill. Opening the door she stood their with a smile on her face.

Jill's POV

"Good morning Johnathan I said with a smile on my face. I was happy he trusted me enough to let me watch his kids on top of that I sold another house this weekend."

He welcomed me and led me to the living room. "Your house is nice."

"Thanks, so you can set your coat and bag in this closest then I'll show you around. "

I set my things down then began my tour. As he was showing me the kids room I couldn't help but wonder why a sexy man like him was single.

"So your daughter gets out of school at 1:00 right?"

"Yes and I'll be picking her up."

And this is Jaylon, he said picking the baby up from his crib.

"I reached out for him to come to me and he did." He was the cutest thing ever.

"So I showed you everything if you have any questions you can come to my office. "

"Im' sure I'll be fine."
After heading back downstairs I started playing with Jaylon making him giggle and scream loud. He could only say a few words but I still didn't understand .

A few hours later, I was making Jaylon some raviolis while he was playing with one of his toys. Once his food was done I cut them up for him and put them to the side to let them cool down.

I decided to play peekaboo with him until the food was worm.

I covered my eyes then we began to play. He was a really happy baby all he did was talk his baby language and keep laughing . Once I fed him I went upstairs to his room to wash him up and change his clothes.

Once I finished I put him on my chest and rocked him to sleep.

It was twelve thirty by this time so I decided to go clean up Jaylons mess. I was washing the dishes then I cleaned the floor. I needed some bleach to get the red stains out but I had no Idea where it was.

I walked downstairs to the first floor and knocked on Jonathan's office door.
"Come in."

"Sorry to interrupt you but can you tell me where the bleach is?"

"Yeah come on I'll show you."

"I followed him down the hall around the corner to the laundry room. "

"Their you go," he said handing me the bottle.

"Also you don't have to watch Layana today my mother will be picking her up."
"Okay."

I followed him out to head back upstairs until he turned around causing me to bump into his chest.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you were that close to me, I was gonna tell you the other cleaning supplies is in the same place."

Okay I said waiting for him to continue to walk but he just stared at me. I begin to look in his eyes to see what he was thinking but he turned around leaving me standing there.

Jonathan's POV

I looked through the cameras seeing Jill interact with my son and I loved it. The way she handle him made me think if she has a man or not.

I was staring at her looking for any signs of damage and indeed there was. If only we could try to be something more.
