Chapter 6 ~The doctors~

(Taylor's POV)

We locked eyes but I could'nt make words come out.We kind of just stood there like statues looking at each other.

"So...um...you had a miscarriage?"I asked breaking the silence.

Before I could say anything or stop her she ran up to me and hugged me like she never wanted to let go.

'Taylor,please dont hate me!You are my best friend!I love you! I am so sorry I didnt tell you but now that I did i feel like it is too late."She yelled into my shirt.

I could feel my shoulder getting wet...she was crying.

"Shh...everything is going to be okay."I whispered to her as I hugged her back.

She was so upset.I feel so bad for freaking out on her yestereday.I feel like all of this is my fault.She is my best friend and I will never let anything happen to her.

"No it isnt,even though I never got to meet it,I loved it.It feels like everything I love disappears."She said letting go and walking to a chair in the corner of her room.

She just sat there looking out of the window.

"We...I am going to take you to the doctors and we will check and make sure this isnt just a sign of pregnancy."I told her.

She looked at me.By the color ofher eyes I could tell she was hurt.

Her eyes were brown.But when she cried they turned to a greenish color.

"Okay."She said before standing up.

(Kaley's POV)

We pulled up to the doctors office and went in.When we stepped inside I felt a cool breeze that gave me goosebumps.

"Yes?How may I help you?"The nurse at the front desk asked me.

"Err...umm...uhh.."No words would come out.I looked over at Taylor and she could tell that I was nervous.

"She needs to see a doctor.She is pregnant and she thinks she might have had a miscarriage this morning."Taylor spoke for me.

"Okay,We will call you right back."The nurse politely told us.

We went and sat down.

"Thank you...for telling her.I was so nervous and still upset."I told Taylor.

"No problem,I could tell by the look you gave me.

15 minutes later

'KALEY HARROWER!"A nurse yelled.

I stood up waiting for Taylor.She came back with me.The nurse took my blood pressure and temperature and all the usual stuff.Then when she was done,we went back to the room.We waited for about 5 minutes before the doctor came in.

"Hello!My name is samantha and I will be your doctor today!So...it says here you believe you had a miscarriage...is that correct?"She asked looking at me.

"Yes" I managed to say without crying.

"Okay...lets get it checked out."The doctor said.

She told me to get up on the bed and pull my shirt up past my stomach.After I did so...she put this cold gel on my stomach that made me jump.I took Taylor's hand as she put the monitor thing to my stomach.About 2 minutes had passed when the doctor looked at me and said, "I am so sorry Kaley,I cannot find a heartbeat.

I layed there not moving,not blinking, not doing anything.
