(Kaley's POV)
OMG!I totally forgot about the concert!It was already 2 weeks away!
"Oh My Buhjesus!'I shouted.
"YEAH!Its already been almost a month since we got ou tof school for the summer!"I yelled back.
"Omigosh!"I was so full of exitement.
Taylor drove me back to my house.As I was walking up to my door I turned around and waved at her.After she waved back I turned around and went inside.I started to run up the stairs to my room when I heard my mom...crying?I guess she didn't hear me come in.I went into her room and saw her on the floor holding a picture of my dad crying.
Flashback
I was only 7
" Kaley!come on we have to leave right now!Something really badhas happened!"My mom yelled at me.
"What's wrong mommy?"I asked.
"Something bad has happened to daddy,baby.We need to go to the hospital so the doctors can make him better."She said trying to hide the tears.
"Is he going to be okay mommy?"I asked not knowing what was going on.
"I hope so baby-girl...now come on we need to go."My mom said rushing me outside.
When we got to the hospital my mom carried me inside with me in her arms while she was running.When we got inside the lady at the deskknew exacylt who we were looking for.But she wouldnt let us go back to see my daddy.
"Ma'am I am sorry but you cannot go back there.He is in very critical condition."The lady told us. "But you can sit in the waiting room and wait and we will keep you up to date with everything.
My mommy nodded and took me to sit down.I was getting tired so Iayed in my mommy's lap and wentto sleep.I had been asleep for about 2 and a half hours when the nice lady came to tell my mom something.
"Mrs.Harrower..I am so sorry...he lost too much blood and did't make it.I am so sorry."She said then turned to walk away.
I sat up watching my mommy stand there.She turned around and I could see she was crying.She came and sat back down.When she did she started playing with my hair.
"It looks like it is just me and you now bug.Everything will get better,I promise."She whispered in my ear.
"I know mommy.I love you and daddy with all of my heart no matter where he is or how long he is gone."I told her.
"Everything will get better,I promise.I sat up in he rlap and whispered in her ear.
