Later that day, Franklin comes back from the principal's office. He sits at a table that I'm sitting at. "I don't like that new girl, not one bit!" Franklin says. "I do, it's just that she's different and weird." I say giving my opinion. "Still, she's noisy and a bitch." Franklin grunts. Ugh! Why doesn't he know when to shut up! "Sit somewhere else, I'm done with your disrespectfulness of girls." "Whatever." He says as he walks off.

"Uh, Mace, could I go to your home, my mom forgot to pick me up." "Sure." He wants to giggle. We get into his mom's car. I talk to her the way to his house. "So, this is my room." He smirks as he opens the door. "Coolio!" I smile. My eyes scan the room; something pops out the most. It's a cat poster," You like cats," "Hmm?" "I said do you like cats." He freezes for a second," Yeah." "Me too." I reply.

Okay, okay. Something's wrong! Why did he freeze when I asked him if he liked cats, Mace is hiding something. I feel my body changing.. "Um..excuse me but can I use your bathroom please!" Another me fights for control. But I won't let it. Not this time. I barely make it to the door as my body starts morphing. My teeth sprout out little fangs as my body is covered with fur and before I know it, I'm a little tabby cat. I jump out of the window.

I come back in she's gone. At 5 I start looking for her. I look in the perimeter of my house lot. I go to Avery's Forest and I hear a voice," Please, please..." It sounds like Lizzy. I walk closer to the voice and I see Lizzy with cat ears and a tail. "Lizy?" I say I bit too loudly. She jumps. "Get away!" "You're a neko!" She turns around and is a wincing," Don't tell anyone please," she quietly asks me. "I'm not, chillax!" I laugh. "It's not funny, I'm a freak and you're not!" She says pouting. "We're both freaks. I'm a neko too." I say, but when I say that I feel weird. She giggles. "Okay then, we're going to be an odd pair indeed."
