( D ) Chapter 4: The Neko Team Is Formed

So I was right after all! He's a Neko like me. I wonder how he's kept from being discovered. "So...uh, Mace how have u hidden this from people." I ask. "Oh I just focus on other things when I think I'm going to change." "If you focus on stuff hard enough then it delays the transformation."

"So I guess being a Neko has enhanced your senses." I say. Lizzy looks surprised. "What that's possible!" She says astonished. "Yeah" I answer. "It must be since you could hear me from so far away." "Oh that? I don't have any enhanced senses I just have good hunches." She says. I'm a little confused by this but don't say anything for the rest of the way to her house.

By the time we get there it's late but not to the point where my parents will freak. Once we get there I can tell how confused he must be. But I don't have time to think of that right now I need a cover story.You see I've erased my family's memory so they don't know I'm a Neko. It's not their fault. They just couldn't handle it. I'll be living on my own soon so I won't need to continue erasing their memories. But it takes a great deal of strength to erase memories. This makes me wonder if mace has ever needed to erase someone's memories or if he even knows what he's capable of. "So how are your parents going to react to you being so late." Mace asks me. "Oh I doubt they know I'm gone and I'm in trouble anyway so why not add to the list." I answer a little annoyed at how my parents can be. "Even so u shouldn't worry your parents. They're still your parents and I'm sure they did a lot to help keep your Neko side hidden." He says. This annoys me a little more. "Oh believe me they aren't what you picture when you think of my parents. Trust me I know what your thoughts are saying." I say a little sarcastically. He seems hurt by this so before he says anything I quickly add. "Sorry that seemd a bit rude. Your a little sensitive I see." I say. Without looking I can see how I surprised him.

Wow she wasn't lying! She really knows what I'm thinking! "So um how do you know what I'm thinking?" I'm a little nervous to hear the answer. "It's simple really, I feel your emotions and your emotions tell me what your thinking it's nothing you should be nervous about." She answers. Wow, this girl really is different. She's basically reading my mind! "Well this is my home. You'd better go. if my parents see you they'll brand you as some bad kid." She says. "Ok then bye see you at school tomorrow." I say as I walk off in to the darkness. Wow that girl is awesome! I wonder if I have any cool stuff I can do! With that though I reach home and pass out in my room.
