Stormy nights

{So this was a request for some Wally darling X Home from Welcome home puppet show fluff by shipperpoggersLULLAB. I hope this is good!}

A rumbling bang could be heard outside the windows. The walls shook with every blast. Windows rattle as the lone puppet hid under his blanket.

Oh how Wally hated thunderstorms. Oh how he longs for them to be over as soon as they begin. Oh how he wished to not be left cowering under the blankets in fear. Oh how he wished his friend, Home,  would reach out.

"Wally, are you okay?" He then heard Home say. "Say" was a loose term. Home was a being of immense psychic abilities, including speaking to people through the mind. It was comforting to Wally. 

"Yes, of course I'm alright!" Wally replied, trying his best to sound unbothered, but the shake in his voice would not leave and shown through. 

"Oh Wally, no you're not." Home responded with that deep voice that Wally adored. What caught him off guard though, was his gentle tone. He has heard it before, but it was still as surprising as when he first heard it.

But that didn't stop him. "It's alright Home-" he was caught off guard by another thunder clap. "You don't like thunder, I know you don't. Here."

 Homes tentacles crept from underneath furniture as they always do. They in circled Wally who was still under the blankets. They hugged him and cuddled him in a way that he knew comforted Wally. 

All snuggled up and comfortable, Wally hugged Home and started to drift off to sleep. And when the lightning flashes, the wind blew, and the thunder boomed, Wally slept peacefully, knowing Home was right there with him. So what if their in love, all they needed was each other after all. 

All they needed was each other.
