"Their Relationship Is Stronger Than Anyones..." (Kaeya × Aether)

Chapter One

~Aether POV~

"Damnit, Diluc is busy, Jean is working, I haven't seen Venti, I need to get my adventure rank up, Paimon is busy, I've done my daily commissions..." [I was thinking of something to do, thinking hard]

"Traveler?  Are you alright?" [A familiar voice asked, I turned around quickly, startled]

"Oh, it's just you.. don't scare me like that, Kaeya!"

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you" [He sounded sad, looking away]

"Quit being so sad- you'll make me sad.." [I hugged him tightly, I felt bad]

[Kaeya chuckled, hugging me back]

[In the distance, Jean and Diluc were talking, watching me and Kaeya.  I don't know what about but I was happy to be with Kaeya.]

"How do we separate them?  How will they act if we do?" [Jean looked at Diluc, then back at me and Kaeya]

"Kaeya will try to get drunk, that's for sure.  Aether means the world to him and he wouldn't be himself without him" [Diluc replied, sighing]

"Lock one in the Library, the other keep with you in the tavern.  I want them to learn to be without each other in case of they're separated in the future." [Jean looked at Diluc again, Diluc nodded]

"You keep Aether and I keep Kaeya?" [Diluc asked, knowing he could handle Kaeya alot better]

[Jean nodded, walking to her office.]

[I was speaking with Jean about how daily commissions have been going, and Kaeya was chatting with Diluc, being a simp and also getting weight off his shoulders.]

"Aether, don't freak but this is a test, me and Diluc agreed to see how long you and Kaeya can go without each other Incase if you're separated in the future." [When I tell you my heart dropped, I mean it, I knew I wasn't going to last long.]

[I sat in the corner, resting my head against the wall, like I wasn't there.  Without Kaeya, I was slowly losing it, if I didn't have him soon, I'd probably start hyperventilating and start freaking out, have a full blown panic attack.]

~Kaeya POV~

[As I was chatting with Diluc, talking about Aether and getting weight off my shoulder, I wondered how Aether was doing, I knew already that's why I'm speaking to keep me distracted.]

"Kaeya?" [Diluc asked, I had zoned out thinking of how Aether would react to this.]

"Huh?  Oh, sorry.  I was thinking of how Aether would take this in.. You know him.." [I responded, he handed me a cup of my favorite drink I would normally get]

"If you love him so much, tell him.  The next time you see him tell him how you feel" [Diluc sighed, I was shocked with his words soon nodding before resting my head on the counter, I didn't touch my favorite drink]

[It's been a few hours and Jean walked in, looking at me as if something bad happened.  I began to worry before she looked at Diluc, Diluc nodded.  She stepped away from the door, I saw Aether trying hard not to freak out yet he was failing, I stood up and looked at Jean,she nodded. I ran to Aether and hugged him tightly, hoping to calm him down.]
