Delilah's POV:

It has been almost 2 months since we started dating.
Honesty after I started dating him I fell more for that guy.
He makes me feel so happy & so special, like I'm the only one there. I've never been so sure of my choice. After making so many bad choices I at least have something to defend it.

Right now I'm waiting for Deb to come. Yes, Deb my old best friend. It has been so long since we had a great conversation. Again all of this was possible due to him, Wayne.

After I told him how me & Deb became almost kinda strangers he didn't stop convincing me to ask him to hangout to sort it all out. And when I didn't, he took my phone, called him & gave me when Deb received. I had to talk to Deb. I didn't have anything to make an excuse. So, I took it simply by asking him few random questions. Our conversation carried on for about an hour him asking me to hangout at last. Now, he's coming here.

The doorbell rang. Walking with flash's speed I clutched the handle and taking a deep breath I welcomed him inside "Hey".

"Hii Delly!" he addressed me. Damn it has been so long since I heard it. Feels great 'Thanks Wayne' my mind said.

He had a medium size paper bag with him that he handed me after we sat on the couch.
"Open it" he told me.

Opening the bag there sat a glass jar with a tag LEMON BUTTER COOKIES on it. My face lit up like a candle "no you didn't" I gasped looking straight at him.

He gave me a proud shrug.

"jeez you still bake them, I cant believe it" I trailed stuffing my mouth with it.

He laughed. "By the way there's more innit" he pointed at the bag.

Looking inside the bag I questioned "okay, please don't tell me that you didn't watch it?"

Standing up he blurted "how would I, didn't we make a promise!" he said and strolled ahead "wait, did you watch it? Make sure its a no or you know.." he was saying when I cut him off.

"I HAVE NOT." I guarded like a child. We both chuckled at this realizing how we missed all this. "I'm sorry Deb" I confessed.

Sitting beside me he said "I'm sorry too, there were things that could have stopped this but-"

"No, its okay. It was my fault too. J-Just leave it." I protested placing my hand on his shoulder.

There was an awkward silence between us. "I missed you Delly" he told me. Deb gave me this nickname when we were little. I liked it a lot and was surprisingly stubborn on the fact that no one except him could call me that, Childhood Nonsense. But I get it now, things have changed a little bit. Even Wayne has called me Delly so many times when he whispered in my ear, I love it.

"I missed you too Debby!" I called out taking him in for a side hug.

A few seconds later, "NOW let's watch the movie" he shouted in Norwegian accent still in hug.

"when the heck are you gonna stop shouting huh?" I asked as he blurted all that near my ear. "I'm telling you if I get deaf in the future the person who'll be responsible will be YOU, okay!"

Scoffing he spoke "off course". Later he started setting up while I went to the kitchen to grab the cheese macaroni I made.

"Remember this?" I asked him showing the dish I made.

"Mrs. Bayer made it! Wohh delicious...give me give me" he pleaded throwing off the cushion.

I chuckled at this. I have missed this so much. "I love you Wayne" my mind commented.

With that he started the movie "let's do it DEBBY STYLE" I protested.

"Let's do it my styleee" he roared with excitement like he was going to go for a war that he wanted to serve.

And just like that everything got back to normal as it was few years ago.
