"No, please stop! Stop it please ! Your scaring me!" I pleaded but my father didn't budge and kept taking my pants off. "This'll teach you a lesson." He grumbled unbuckling his belt.

Tears began spilling, as my screams were heard throughout the house. "Please I'll do anything, please!" He came closer and began to touch me.

As I wiggled around I suddenly kicked him. I gasped, "No! No, please it was an accident! I didn't mean it! No!-" a loud thud was heard as he slapped me to the ground.

"Don't you dare, disrespect me again!" He shouted kicking me, at my weakest spots. My ribs swollen with a shade of green with purple.

5 Hours later

"Hey, Kara...are you ok?" Asked my little brother bringing me some water, and an apple. I just stood there emotionless.

He...he raped me. Why? What did I do? Why didn't Mom do anything?

"I'm...I'm fine." With my scratchy unrecognizable voice I said, after hours of screaming. He hugged me causing me to flinch but hug back.

His blonde curls tickled my face, as his ocean eyes looked at me. "I'm sorry." He began sobbing. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything!" He cried loudly.

I gave a small smile, "It's ok. You couldn't have done anything either way." He hiccups, "But it's no fair! They treat you like trash, but not me! They treat as some prince or something!"

"At least it's me and not you. That's all that matters." All of a sudden a broken glass bottle was heard, causing me and my little brother Erick to panic.

"Go." I said sternly, he nodded his head and quietly ran back to his room locking it.

I got up to look at my mirror to see a big black eyes with blood on my pupil. "Ow." I hissed as I rubbed alcohol on it. I went into my drawers looking for an eye patch.

"Grandma's!" I whispered as I put hers on. I quickly changed into a white button up shirt, with a Victorian looking vest, and leather boots.

I got my backpack and jumped off the second roof of the house. "Shit!" I hissed landing on my ankle.

Suddenly my father James looked out the window causing me to panic and hide. He opened it looking outside then closed it.

I sighed as I ran for my life towards the woods.
