The pounding in my head, Thump–, Thump– The slow beat began raising as did my breathe. My eyes widen in fear as I saw those Dark Red eyes. Again.

"Hey, Grandma!" Said the little girl. "Oh? Hey, Kara." Said the old lady with a warm smile on her face.

The old lady continued walking towards her garden, as the little girl followed.

"What are we doing today?" She asked, "Hmm, I'm not sure. Maybe you can help me plant this new flower I bought."
"Ooh! What is it!?"

"A rose my dear. Now, be a darling and get the shovel for me?" The little blonde nodded excitedly. She ran towards it struggling. Grandma laughed, as she saw the little trying to lift it up.

"It's not funny!" The little girl pouted. Grandma chuckled, "Fine, fine. Sorry." Kara's frow turned to a smile as she ran towards her Grandma, "Your forgiven!" She grinned.

Grandma carried little Kara into her lap. "My little flame." She smiled, hugging her tightly. "Grandma! I can't breath!" The little girl giggled.

"I want you to stay here. I'm gonna go into the forest and pick some mushrooms, okay?" She nodded. "I'll be back!" She waved, Kara waved back.

30 minutes later—

"Grandma?" Kara shouted. She heard a loud bang, causing her to run into the forest. "Grandma?! Grandma where are you?!" She looked side to side.

As she walked further into the forest she heard a small grunt, causing her to turn. "Grandma?!" The little girl cried, seeing her Grandma on the floor bleeding.

"Hey, little flame." Tears shed down her small face. "Grandma! What do I do? We have to stop the bleeding, come on!"

She ripped off a piece of her shirts covering it. She panicked as the blood soaked through the cloth. "No, no, no!"

"It's ok, baby." Grandma smiled. "No, no it's not ok!" Suddenly her hand was grabbed firmly. "Kara, Kara. Run." A twig snapped.

Kara looked behind her hearing a snarl, and those glowing red eyes. My heart thumped in my head. My breath quickened, as my eyes widen with fear.

"Run, my little flame. Don't look back, just run till you get home."  The snarl became louder.

"I love you, little flame." She smiled with one last breath she took, her eyes closed.

I ran. I ran as fast as my little legs could. Tears streaming uncontrollably down my face.

"I love you too, grandma."
