July 4th special: Rain Works

It's hot and humid. The skies are cloudy with the air smelling of iron. There's the sound of bugs everywhere with the layer of a festival covering it. It's all like a perfectly picked apart plan. Even the people I'm here with add to it.

"Ayato~ help us set up the canopy and mats!" Kizano waved over to me as I was sitting in the shade with Hanakõ resting on me. He didn't get enough sleep last night cause he said he was way to excited, but I know he was up reading like his brother. Taro, Osano and Aso were gone, getting sparklers and little fireworks for when we all go and celebrate with Megai at his place.

I set Hanakõ so he's resting on the tree instead and get up to run over and help. It was so uncomfortable working in the summer heat but with the help of the others and myself the canopy was up faster then expected, given that this was our first time using it. Hanakõ slowly walked over hugging my sweater that we made into a pillow.
"Are you guys setting out the mats yet?" He rubbed his eyes and leaned on me. Our build up of sweat making me uncomfortable.

"No we haven't, but you can do yours. Here," I bent down and picked up one to give to him. "You can set that one wherever you wanna sleep." He swiveled his head around for a bit before choosing a spot. It seemed like a really good spot too, he was at the edge of the shade so it would be warmer since it was closer to the sunlit grass. And when the sun went down and it got cooler he would still be warm but not to warm. And him laying there all comfortable just made it seem like an even better spot.

I grab a couple other mats and placed them down. Osano, Taro, Aso and mines were near Hanakõ's. Kizano and Amao laid out the rest so I laid down with Hanakõ.
"What? You brought a chair for yourselves and not us too? Soooo meaaan!" Kizano was hitting Osorõ's chest, gently or not he was definitely gonna get it later. Myjo and Mido set their chairs next to their mats. Mido snuck behind Kizano as he was pouting to Osorõ, he wrapped his arms around Kizano and buried the lower half of his face into his purple hair.

  "You know I don't like it when someone steals my credit~ so why don't you complain to me~? It was my idea afterall," Kizano cheeks lit up in red. "WAH! Y-YOU! LET GO! You, do you know how long it takes to tame my hair?! Especially in this heat?!" Mido tightly kept him in place as he was thrashing around. It was quite the scene to watch, Kizano was acting really shy it was cute and he usually isn't like this. He only acts like this with the older guys... Makes me a little jealous. Should I ask them about their tactics?

As I was thinking Kizano got really quiet and stopped thrashing around as much.
  "Let go, there... there's people looking..." Now his voice was small and quiet and his whole face and shoulders were red and he was looking down like he was hiding from the staring passerbys. Myjo quickly broke them apart, setting Kizano on his chair and himself on the mat. Mido and Osorõ were talking most likely about Kizano and how cute he was while the guy himself was currently a red steamed bun being cooled down and accompanied by Myjo, who was glaring at Mido. In short it was a whole chaos over here.

Amao was cooking and Inco the guy that planned this thinking about all the fun was constantly babbling complaints about the weather. With the clouds in the way there was barely sunlight yet he was still putting on sunscreen and used up two spray cans of bug repellent, covering himself from head to toe in the mixture of both.

  "Hey, you shouldn't be spraying so much on yo- KOFF! KOFF KOF!! Ugh," Osorõ waved the air around him while pulling the collar of his tank top to his nose. "KOFF, geez man!" He took the can away from Inko as well as the bag holding the rest of the spray.

Ha... Hahah.... I figured I wasn't gonna be able to finish this... Listen my fam has been... Something. I'm not gonna stop writing and I wish I told you guys sooner and I'm sure you guys would have appreciated that. But things may... Probably are gonna be updated slowly... It won't be weekly but more like monthly. I might have also gotten scared. I'm always thinking about you guys when I'm not autopiloting through the day. Oh I have art for you guys!
